From https://www.beeminder.com/runkeeper

[?] What happens to the money when you derail? Beeminder gets it. We hope you'll view it as a fair fee for the service, that happens to be waived if you never go off track. If you'd rather the money go to charity we highly recommend RunOrElse.

From http://runorelse.com/index.php/public/faq?id=6&q=Where+d...

If you feel more motivated knowing that a greater percentage of your money would go to charity you might try Stickk.com, if you would be more motivated with none of your money going to charity at all you should check out Beeminder.com

"Seventy-five percent of Dutch women now work part time, compared to 41 percent in other European Union countries and 23 percent in the United States"

"Twenty-three percent of Dutch men have reduced hours, compared to 10 percent across the European Union and in the United States; another nine percent work a full week in four days."

Nice, but don't compute the length of a list if you don't have to.

(not . null) instead of (\x -> length x > 1) is shorter, and works on infinite lists also.

Edit: well, in case you would test for x>0.

Re:Why aren't you using git-flow? on Thursday August 19, 2010 @08:26PM (#1619127)
what is your equivalent of:

git checkout -b hotfix master

The master/develop model gives you a pointer to the latest release for free. The pointer is called master.

Without the 'extra' develop branch, you have to remember or lookup the name of the latest release if you want to make a hotfix, or keep an extra tag for it, in which case the two models are the same.

Re:Vim 7.3 released on Monday August 16, 2010 @04:02PM (#1609009)
Is this your editor? http://vian.sourceforge.net/

I saw you have experience with Haskell, have you seen Yi? http://yi-editor.blogspot.com/ It has an Emacs and Vim frontend, but is far from being finished.

Re:Source code of the file with the Zune bug (starts on line 249) on Saturday January 03, 2009 @09:14AM (#418368)
And another leapyear bug on line 170? The year 2000 was a leap year, but here they seem to have the 0 and the 1 mixed up:

Leap = (Year%400) ? 0 : 1;

Those original reasons being (from http://www.sl4.org/archive/0203/3132.html): "One of the conditions of the test is that neither of us reveal what went on inside... just the results (i.e., either you decided to let me out, or you didn't). This is because, in the perhaps unlikely event that I win, I don't want to deal with future "AI box" arguers saying, "Well, but I would have done it differently." As long as nobody knows what happened, they can't be sure it won't happen to them, and the uncertainty of unknown unknowns is what I'm trying to convey. "
