Dynamic Transformer-layers allocation per step is intuitively and computationally appealing. Can't believe this idea has been under-explored for years.
Hey there! Sorry that name of the div confuses you.

But the div doesn't mean to be injected to anywhere else except you.com site and localhost (for our own testing). It does nothing but let us know if you are in a browser with the extension installed when accessing to our site, so that we show you a clean page without extension nudge (https://github.com/You-OpenSource/You-Firefox-Extension/blob...).

To be fair, they still published papers casually and published a ton of useful OOS recently. Whisper, Tiktoken, Point-E, you named it.

prompting (with language) can be considered a way to retrain the model. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1YfSkqvFVtRkFBpQ4SKuB...
You can disable it (I think) by opening `chrome://flags/` on Chrome, searching for "Side search" feature.
just curious why don't you use you.com for both regular search and code search?
I found You search, especially quick fact app, is an amazing thing for that usecase. No ads, rich content (web results, facts, videos, etc.) and super compact.

Re:The next Google on Tuesday April 05, 2022 @07:34PM (#30926522)
I like you.com search better, as their reddit app yields less fussy results than the reddit search itself and i normally don't have to append reddit at the end of my query.
Re:If Google sucks then why is everyone still using it? on Sunday March 20, 2022 @01:14AM (#30740345)
there is a simple solution for that. Search for '!g {your_query}' in you.com and boom, you'll be taken to google.

They introduced that feature here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScDcj-hX5ns

just curious. Are you willing to forgo relevant results when searching for "restaurants near me" to preserve your IP addr?

Totally. There should be a better way to index SO.

you.com seems to try doing it that way. For most code issues, it's easier to navigate and decide what's worth reading from You than from google IMO.
