It is not a good idea to compare 2 unrelated industries directly. In the ISP Industry, the customer pays for X Mbit of Bandwidth. In the payment industry, the customer pays for the transaction fees indirectly. Hence, if you were to get your internet connection for "free" and pay for it indirectly, then the comparison could be made.

We use BitNami and Wordpress to generate static files. Works great. Paired with cloudflare, the site is faster than 99 % of the web (according to http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/).
Hello,

we have several servers at hetzner since 2009. The performance has been stunning. Biggest upside is probably the ability to buy 1 TB of bandwith for 6.90 €. What amazes me is the fact that they can provide such great service and still be highly profitable. Turnover in the fiscal year 2010 was 29.68 Million € with post tax profit being 8.925 Million €.

This is a strategic shift to turn the apple shareholder basis from a hedgefund hotel to a dividend fund stock. Very smart as in a deflationary shock hedge fund liquidate profitable assets first. With the recent AAPL performance the stock is probably on top of the list. Most interesting fact of the call: "Apple had a record weekend" Tim Cook (referring to sales start of the new ipad.)
