How are you suppose to cook an over easy egg on anything other than non-stick? Only thing I keep my non-stick around for.
Long walks with no phone help me come back with a lot of focus and less stress.
I never understood the argument against speculation. Many stocks are losing money or do not yet have a working product, so how is speculating on these kinds of stocks any different from speculating on cryptocurrencies?
Would be nice to have the journal the paper is published in on the post.
The bagel looks like a black hole
Funny how so few resources exist for the biggest decision of your life.
No language is more fun to write in than Ruby.
Yes, CBD has been proven to be safe in multiple studies. It's non addictive and does not change normal sleep patterns.
High quality CBD works well
Haven't done any interviews but did talk to a recruiter who was asking upfront if I was okay with a 6 day work week. Just a single data point, but I would assume employers are also trying to leverage the situation to get more out of their employees.

For me its mapping command + control + shift + 4 to a mouse button on Mac. That way I can easily take screenshots and share them on slack to show examples, share info, etc.
This is why capitalism evolves into socialism, we are in the beginning stages of this. Marx explains all of this better than I can.
The layoffs are due to higher interest rates. Higher interest rates are due to higher inflation. Higher inflation is due to money printing. Money printing is due to covid and other central bank activities.
Using toilet paper...bidets are easier and more hygienic.
Why would you want it to stop there?
I've found generally they do not know the answer, but are presumed to know and as a result instead of saying "I don't know" will use the points outlined to seem like they do know.
This assumes you have shell and those tools installed via your Dockerfile. Best practice is to have a multi stage build and just have the working binary, keeping the image as light as possible.
So when do you make a fat image with debug tools and when do you keep it skinny?
Not true, as always it depends.
For one you can disable the popup ads. Additionally you get paid if you do enable the ads. So it's quite a different system where the user is put first in both cases.
Rails, Heroku, and Cloudflare. Very easy, but costs are rising.
The crypto aspect is opt-in
The entire UX is clunky, how does this even happen?
This is from 3 years ago. How is this getting voted up?
Really depends. If its a simple fix for something I will usually merge and clean up in subsequent PR's. The contributor is helping me out, I want to make it as easy for them as possible, which makes it more likely they will continue to help. As the difficulty and complexity of the PR increases I will proportionately increase the standards for the PR. Obviously there are other factors that would change this approach but in general, I try to make contributing easy as possible.
I've only used DDG and Brave search. I prefer Brave search probably because it mixes in Google results.
Yes it does mix in google results if you want it to, but the search is still anonymous.
Brave and Brave search have been great.
Sure, I've gotten use to them. Having ads enabled also allows for easy donations to Wikipedia, Khan Academy, etc.
Easily the best browser on the market and continues to produce great features. Very bullish on its crypto token BAT which is earned by viewing their ads ($5-10/mo). If you're going to use a browser why wouldn't want to use Brave with rewards turned on, honestly?
