now, it's like you are working for free for gen-AI companies.
The downside is that now bunch of llms will read it and spill my thoughts all over without any attribution. I might be even ok with that, but now some company is making money on it, and that doesn't sit well with me.

Sharing code on the blog not any more?
I've been blogging on and off for 20 years. When I was a teenager the motivation was very clear, I just wanted to share what I found. Like how to work around a bug in some old Nokia smartphone.Lately I choose an ambitious project for myself in Swift/AVFoundation. I worked a lot on a single feature and I nailed it. I felt that again, I'm going to share it.But then I felt sad, because I don't have...
I wanted to have a more difficult project and learn more about AV and Liquid Glass. I try not to vibe-code. I keep it 100% free for now, I'm looking for power users and retention. I won't monetise until I feel that this is a helpful tool.

Hi!My co-founder and I have built a tool designed specifically for marketing agencies that work with micro-influencers.Running campaigns with dozens of micro-influencers can be time consuming, especially when manually scanning their past content. We've automated that process. With our tool, you can select Instagram influencers and analyze their past posts for key metrics such as hate speech,...

I’m looking for an opportunity where I won't be squeezed into a tiny box. Ideally at the a early startup, close to the product development.I will consider part-time or full time. Ideally b2b.
most of the companies won't even send you a dev kit unless you show promise to buy thousands.. Google coral was different, of the shelf, easy to buy, plug and play, python API.
It has a few problems though. It's not very fast for today's standards. The list of supported operators aged quickly. On top of that it is a bit energy hungry, 2 TOPS per watt + random spikes.
I hope they are working on something new, but I also won't be suprised if they kill it, for the last year the devices are constantly out of stock.
It's also very handy when my girlfriend shows me sth she likes, I can easly store it for gift ideas
think:
- fixes around the house / todos
- image as a reminder
- wishlist (some photo lists can be public and shareable)
- recommendations (when someone is showing you a book or sth, just capture and save it)
I'm still at an early experimentation stage, but have I'm documenting progress at https://twitter.com/visuelapp
