"we need to add certificats and raise the bar, quality over quantity"

Im not sure why that comment was delete, hn is becoming very authoritarian

Most advanced healthcare , most surplus of food, variety and abundance of energy. Capitalism has made the most abundant and highest quality of products. Its ok if people cant afford certain things, its called costs. Surgeons are not slaves.
being compared to FIFA... not a good thing

they have not brought any innovation. They are just a company with a very reliable and robust service. For all the bad news its just social moral crying, its nothing about their tech.

As a service they are great, reliable. Thats all you need to be a successful business you dont need to innovate. Let google and Microsoft think about AI. All Uber needs to do is make sure I get to my destination on time.

When you think about impact, you might say Uber has topped all tech companies. Sure Google AI can be the best chess player, but Uber give mobility to me and many others in an easy to use application which is much more effective in my day to day life.

no they dont , they care to take the top comment stop and show once again that HN is becomeing useless.

Im all for the removal of politics but can you remove the dumb stuff at the same time. That would be cool.

Ill add a personal note. Being a good professional programmer is also about understanding the context of your program. You will not always have the time to optimize for performance. You will not always have the time to refactor functionality to make it more modular for further variety. Sometimes you will need to skip test becuase deadline says it should be done yesterday. Learn to not be emotionally tied to the code. Get your job done, to the best quality you can for the time you have allotted. Dont be made if its not perfect. But during the train ride or in the shower think about how to make it better. This process of just grasping with the ideas of clean code are good training for when you have to approach a similar problem on the fly.
