And since Reachy's software and SDK are pretty open, it's trivial for a coding agent to learn how to communicate with the robot to achieve your desired outcome.
"It's such a fine line between stupid, and uh" ... "Clever."
> We haven't had dense interfaces for decades at this point
GovTech is still full of them. But B2B/B2C, you're right.
The nagging will continue until morale improves.
That's what I'm finding as I researched it:
Android's HDR brightness slider is low - The single most common "HDR does nothing" report on Android 15/16 devices. Samsung also has Super HDR/Extra brightness / Vision booster toggles under Display. Any of them at the conservative setting would have an effect.
If you want to opt-out of the second coming of <blink>:
chrome://flags/#force-color-profile -> sRGB
I mean, use it responsibly. Of course people won't, it's the internet, but a skilled designer may use it to highlight a word or an accent to draw your eye. It can be tricky in dense interfaces to draw focus to something (little tooltips or big buttons aren't the best answers). This is just another tool in the toolbox.
I was only able to test it on my iPhone. Let me see if the S26 needs a tweak (or confirm if it's not support)

Certain logos started standing out to me on LinkedIn as brighter/whiter than everything else around them.I dug in and found out this is accomplished by adding a gain-map to an existing JPEG, visible only on HDR screens like a newer MacBook Pro. LinkedIn is the only social network I've found that isn't stripping them out, but of course you serve them up on your own site.I worked with Claude Code...
Now do Florida coasts next (seriously). In many Florida counties here you can hire your own "private inspectors" at a high price-tag to replace city/county building inspectors. Once that's done, the county can't even legally step on your property to investigate a complaint.
This enables developers to proceed without government intervention through completion of the home, then if anything, they pay fines that are maybe 1-2% of the project cost.
Meanwhile, even protected wildlife preserves are fair game. One trick used often here is listing the wrong address on your permits so that neighbors don't receive notices, then later they update it to the correct address claiming a scriber's error. This is starting to get some more attention but not enough to compel our elected officials to enforce their own building and zoning laws.
I like the name! I'd consider a self-hosted and open-source version as your "free" plan then a cloud-hosted paid version, and for $10+ if your goal is to make a profit vs. run a hobby project.
Just my opinion — don’t change anything. I got to 9 words, had fun, will try again tomorrow. Simplicity and urgency win
Congrats. You may want to consider dropping the "reverse engineer" language though, since most every application's ToS is clear on that being prohibited. Perhaps just "replay any application" or similar.

Hey HN. I built a small iOS app called Outside In (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/outside-in/id6759529344).The idea is simple: you put a spare/old iPhone outside (porch, windowsill, backyard) and keep the other one by your bed. The outside phone captures whatever's happening out there — crickets, rain, wind, the occasional owl — and streams it to the inside phone over your local Wi-Fi. You flip...
If working in this space interests you, I recommend checking out Magnet Forensics. They make the best tools for end users tasked with taking those recovered hard drives full of CSAM and performing the analysis. Great company to consider working for (I have no affiliation, just a longstanding respect for them).

Important callout beyond the headline: "Last year, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children received 4,700 reports of generated AI child porn, with some criminals even using generative AI to make deepfakes of real children to extort them."

"We’ve decided to end-of-life (EOL) Twilio Programmable Video as a standalone product. Given it’s such a niche area and a relatively small part of our portfolio, we believe partnering with video industry leaders is the best way to ensure long-term product innovation for our customers. Removing Programmable Video from our portfolio will also allow Communications to more effectively focus on our pillar products - Messaging, Voice, and Email."

One of the larger pain points of being a startup acquired by a public company is the re-negotiation of service agreements with the dozens of SaaS services we rely upon.If our spend is high enough, typically the vendor is willing to work with us. If it's not, well, they're not - and I don't blame them.Do any standards exist akin to the YC Safe Financing Documents...
They've done that at least!
While I usually withhold personal comments here, I love this article because the Hogfish is the only main species here in Florida that for whatever reason I can't catch (while all my mates have). They even bought me a Hogfish cutting board to remind me each day of my "white whale." I'm so glad to read of their camouflage abilities to use that as an excuse!
They don't appear to artificially, no. But like any auction, when it's a good deal, a lot of people may watch and wait until fairly near the end. I've used them before and had a very positive experience.
https://www.loveseat.com/ is a great example of a business built on a second market for returns (Austin, San Antonio, San Diego)
That’s true. The narrative can get lost or at least watered down in the process.
