In November of last year, a mysterious startup called New Computer posted a video of an incredibly beautiful, fluid app that promised to be a personal guide powered by artificial intelligence. After months of waiting Dot finally launched. I captured the onboarding experience and proceeded to use the app for several days before formulating thoughts. Now it’s time to share.
Re:Why Instagram Failed to Become TikTok on Tuesday January 09, 2024 @10:39PM (#38935839)
In 2022 the Instagram team announced they were “testing a new, immersive viewing experience in the main Home feed.” As a self-proclaimed mobile app design connoisseur, this piqued my interest. Clearly this was an attempt to replicate TikTok’s UX of showing one piece of media per scroll. For Instagram this would be differentiated since the app supports both photos and videos whereas TikTok is designed for video consumption only.

The test failed, and I have a hypothesis as to why: context.

A look back at key Apple products to help me determine if I should order a Vision Pro on launch day or wait for v2.

Very clever service.

"Technology" is misspelled here: https://blogmask.herokuapp.com/browse

Also, why copy the Kudos feature from Svbtle?

I use it for production code. Works great.

css3ps.com is also great, but it does not instantly provide the code inside of Photoshop like csshat. A web browser launches and you have to wait twenty seconds before code appears.

I highly recommend this. Saves a lot of time and supports SASS.

This is nothing. The Orbit reached its funding goal in October 2011. Still haven't received anything, and still no ship date.

Anyone who has worked in hardware knows how incredibly difficult it is. Your manufacturers will constantly make mistakes which cause unexpected delays. Give these guys a break.

Why not just take a year off instead of dropping out?
Is it really so hard to right because instead of cos?
Re:Will Spam and Porn ruin Tumblr's Reputation? on Thursday December 08, 2011 @11:25AM (#3329706)
"Users are getting worried about spams and malware spreading at a constant rate in Tumblr."

Really? I've used Tumblr every day for a couple years now. I have never seen any "spams" or porn. This user isn't "worried."
