On the other hand that space makes it far easier to work on myself.

My Subaru has almost zero free space under the hood and there are all kinds of repairs I wouldn't attempt because you have to disassemble half the engine to get to anything.

This comment would be significantly better if you had stopped before the personal attack. Maybe take a second to review the community guidelines https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html

https://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/language/destructor

Take a look at "Destruction sequence" but basically the destructors are chained together and called one after another to free all resources rather than forming one destructor for the derived object. That being said it is still effectively one object in memory.

I don't see how this is anything like a crypto exchange, is there something I'm missing here?

It's not perfect but encryption should keep most people honest assuming you practice good opsec.

I'm not sure what pouching employees means, I think you mean poach :)

They are typically just written out of the conflict. In this case I assume that you are talking about Captain Marvel whom I believe is always needed on other planets in other galaxies except for the rare occassion when the writers needs a deus ex machina.
Re:How does the FBI art crime team operate? on Thursday January 20, 2022 @05:10PM (#30015873)
I'm just imagining government agencies running pledge drives for three months out of the year.

In this system how would we manage a situation where some organizations are over funded to a drastic degree (though who decides that?) and other vital services (and who decides what is vital?) are underfunded? I'm not convinced that the American people could come together and vote with our wallets in a way that results in a balanced budget.

Edit: I shouldn't have specified American, I'm sure plenty of countries would struggle with this :)

Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin are higher than much of the country.

Nothing to add to the discussion but fyi I think you want ceases instead of seizes.
Thank you! It is hard to search for that term :)

I think people are just curious to see some actual evidence that points to Russia. I don't think it is unlikely, I just haven't read anything that clearly indicates a specific nation state.

Well technically helicopters are propelled by explosions. :)
Arguably taxpayers also get to choose who they vote for. You can argue about the effectiveness of the democratic process in the US but it feels a tad disingenuous to suggest we have no responsibilities in this system we are all apart of.
Just want to point out that it's asphalt, not asfalt. :)

There is still a lot to be gained by strong typing even in projects where everything is statically allocated.
Re:A plane flying over Germany drawing a Christmas tree on Wednesday December 13, 2017 @11:23AM (#15915189)
Well it is still a very expensive thing to do :)
