CoreWeave | Senior Specialist Field Engineers (Kubernetes, Security, Storage, Compute Infrastructure) | Full-time | Hybrid, 3 days/week in office: San Francisco CA, Sunnyvale CA, or Bellevue WA | $182k-$275k base + bonus + equity

I run the US West Specialist Field Engineering team at CoreWeave. We work hand in hand with the labs pushing the boundaries of AI, on some of the largest GPU Kubernetes clusters in the world. Specialist Field Engineers own the technical side of the customer relationship: architecture, proofs of concept, and the hard debugging nobody else can do. What you learn in the field feeds straight back into the product.

Must live near one of the cities above. This is a hybrid role, and we do not offer relocation.

Must have deep experience in these areas. It's in the title. The work we do goes exceptionally deep, and we need people who are already experts in one of these areas.

* Kubernetes [ https://grnh.se/7j1kydde6us ] You've written a production k8s operator, in go or rust. Bonus: GPU scheduling (device plugins, topology, MIG, RDMA), control plane scaling at thousands of nodes, Slurm, CNCF contributions.

* Security [ https://grnh.se/jxbek1o66us ] You've secured large-scale infrastructure and can trace an identity or isolation problem from the IdP, through the kernel and network, into Kubernetes. Bonus: threat modeling against SOC 2/FedRAMP, confidential computing and attestation, Falco/Tetragon, DPU/GPU/secure boot.

* Storage [ https://grnh.se/137kuvyv6us ] You've built or run a parallel filesystem (VAST, WEKA, Lustre) at scale, and can explain in detail how S3 works under the hood. Bonus: NFS-over-TCP debugging at scale, checkpointing for AI training, CSI drivers, kernel NFS/Lustre/Ceph contributions.

* Compute Infrastructure [ https://grnh.se/q3hmrcf56us ] You've brought up and validated large GPU clusters on GB200/GB300-class hardware, from InfiniBand/RoCE fabric validation thorugh PXE boot and NCCL acceptance. Bonus: firmware/BMC/BIOS, bare metal, Kubernetes, or Slurm.

If you're local and that's you, apply through the links above (they route to me) and mention HN.

We’re a (very) small band of deeply experienced distributed systems people who help our clients with the most difficult of problems on top of Kubernetes. We’re looking for contractors (1099, project based) to join the team. This is actually DEVops, meaning we sling production-grade code (Go, Python, etc) as often as YAML.

We’ve always been 100% remote (US TZs ±1 only), work four-days-per-week, pay our contractors within 7 days of invoice, and if I may say so myself have an outstanding culture.

If you’re interested, read more at https://superorbital.io/careers/

Feeling overwhelmed after the apocalypse? Is that #fullyremote lifestyle lookin' kinda sweet lately?

We’re a (very) small band of highly experienced distributed systems people who help our clients with the most difficult of problems on top of Kubernetes. This is actually DEVops, meaning we sling production-grade code (Go, Python, etc) as often as YAML.

We’ve always been 100% remote (US TZs ±1 only), have great benefits, spend 1 day a week on internal projects, and if I may say so myself have an outstanding culture.

Coworker of mine wrote on Crossplane. What it is, where it excels, where it falls down, how it compares to Terraform, and how can you use it today.

Hello fellow Kubernauts!! | https://superorbital.io/careers

Feeling overwhelmed after the apocalypse? Is that #fullyremote #vanlife lookin’ kinda sweet lately?

We’re a (very) small band of highly experienced devops who help our clients with the most interesting of Kubernetes-related problems. This is _actually_ devops, meaning we often develop production-grade code to solve unusual requirements.

We’ve always been 100% remote (GMT-4 through GMT-7 only), have great benefits, matching 401k, practice transparent salaries (between $180-$210k/yr), spend a day each week on internal projects, and if I may say so myself have an outstanding culture.

If you’re interested, please do read on (https://superorbital.io/careers) or just email us at [email protected]
