...and the one that really works (variable height and width) uses `display: table` :(

fortunately, on my wag160n it doesn't seem exposed to the internet

Ask HN: Are you still profiling CSS selectors?

Ten days ago I submitted a question on StackOverflow: "How to profile CSS selectors?" [1] and I didn't get proper answers. I'm going to repost (and update) that question here1) Google removed the CSS Profiler [2]2) Firefox doesn't have one [3]3) Opera had dragonfly, but now Opera is Blink based... and dragonfly is gone.4) The only profiler around there in Safari, doesn't work on my 7.0.0 / OSX...

I really don't like the time shifted on the right.

Since time is a small field, before I was able to read

file__time_comment__________ without any problem

now I see

file__comment________________time

I'm disoriented :(

unfortunately icnfnt at the moment has some major issues, including lost of pixel perfection when subsetting https://github.com/johnsmclay/icnfnt/issues/5#issuecomment-1...

it seems that the author will address these issues soon (issue #19).

i wanna thank him too for his efforts

Thanks Dave!

Thanks. I was planning to update the comparison by providing the total number of icons and unique features provided by each project
something similar happened here in Italy/other countries... anti piracy advertising stoled music

Re:Chart.js - open source HTML5 charting library on Monday March 18, 2013 @10:07PM (#5398483)
I have a little application with charts. I was using jqplot but IMHO it was too heavy and I started googling for a lighter solution. I found flot. flot is based on canvas and has user interaction. I don't know how it is implemented (btw flot is mit licensed) but it works. it's a shame that this library doesn't support user interaction

Hi guys, you definitely got your revenge here: http://youtu.be/9JhuOicPFZY

:)

imho (most of) those icons look better than glyphicons's vectorial ones in BS 3.0
Re:Making Facebook's native mobile app faster using HTML5 on Tuesday December 18, 2012 @09:52AM (#4937709)
IMHO if in 2013 a HTML5 application needs iframe + js proxies hacks to perform faster, there is something deeply wrong.

Sorry for my English

Nice. I did it by myself some months ago!

https://github.com/tagliala/bootstrap/commit/0b9d96517870009...

I removed gradients, shadows, round corners...

You did a step forward: button gradients!

As many of you pointed out, the problem are bootstrap's updates. Maybe a script that removes .border-radius and converts #gradient in plain color is better
