I think I had the latest, but rooting went fine two weeks ago...
AFAIS there is no ability to rate a demo, so it’s flooded by low quality demos. So if they would have rating it wouldn’t be a problem to filter crap off
Re:Omarchy: Any User Process Can Escalate to Root on Sunday August 30, 2026 @11:53PM (#49505385)
I think you are probably missing critical point that for someone omarchy is not about “bare arch”

UI is crucial. If people want something easy to use out of the box without spending days to configuring it

More

1. Webpage is lying and showing stuff what you don't have in the app

2. You made changes to my .zshrc without asking me.

3. Slow. Open and render tiny md file with 10 lines - 1s

Removed, will never install again

I was really dissapointed whem realized that they sell on the webpage what they don't have in the app

Deleted immediately

So it's just a Electron editor + "open in %agent" button... I don't see any reasons to use it instead of. obsidian + my agents.

Re:Year of the Linux Laptop: Omarchy on XPS on Friday May 01, 2026 @10:06AM (#47974989)
I actually impressed how DHH makes the things work. I switched to Omarchy from Mac and it's not perfect but I feel that I like it. Probably would get an XPS.

Now on x7950x/4080 - gaming works almost perfectly. 99% of the games "just work" including AAA tiles.

Show HN: Snitchmd – Cloudflare-protected URLs into clean Markdown via Docker

https://github.com/syabro/snitchmd

Shmauthor here. Built this for myself, putting it out in case it's useful.Needed any URL as clean Markdown for LLM context — including Cloudflare/anti-bot sites. curl gets HTTP 403 on those, raw HTML is 80%+ nav noise eating context, paid SaaS (Firecrawl, Jina) wasn't an option for me.It's a Docker wrapper around two existing OSS tools — CloakBrowser (stealth Chromium that passes Cloudflare)...

I don’t quite get how it’s being injected in https requests… do they inject their own https cert?
Sounds really cool.

A few things I think should be considered:

1. Global state management? Props drilling really sucks...

2. How to deal with network? API is a must...

3. React/vue/svelte have a huge components database. Do we have to write our own? E.g. react-select...

PS Two-way data-binding was a thing once in the first Angular. But it turned out that most of developers used it everywhere and it dealt more harm than good
