There's the problem.

Not knowing where your food comes from makes you unable to make an informed choice about what you consume. It is a tragedy.

Being drunk off their ass [1] might help them having the guts. Can't blame them, they are sitting on a 2000 metric ton bomb.

This is actually addressed in the paper. Basically you can use testing to detect the timebomb, up to a negligible probability.

This paper is approachable, it's understandable without too much background if you're interested in the topic.

Basically splitting the trusted circuit and testing the parts separately. This requires a trusted master circuit, but it can be arbitrarily small.

Which you could get by hacking WhatsApp endpoints.
Very nice looking website.

FYI, you have a typo in the FAQ: "Can I change the time I get asked for an update?". I think "change my time" should be "change my settings".

My blog[0] runs on a 30 line bash script that generates the html from markdown, hosted on github pages. It would take about 10 minutes to change the host.

What I write isn't interesting per se, but I don't want to depend on the bon vouloir of a VC-backed startup somewhere to keep a whopping 4.3kB online.

Nice! Nitpick: it would be cool to be able to click on a language to automatically search for it.
Being misinformed due to the 'abstinence only' sex-ed. I wouldn't blame it on the teen, but on the education system, or the teen's parents who can't be bothered to teach birds and bees.
Re:Are tarballs obsolete? on Monday October 26, 2015 @03:59AM (#10450032)
The authenticity check with GPG or SHA sums requires a gentler learning curve for a 'flat' tarball.
