What are the best resources for learning Unity for game dev? Most of the tutorials, courses and articles seem a bit dated.

I am adept at building the backend for mobile/web applications but when it comes to building the UI, I end up building something mediocre. How do I get to a point where I am able to think like a designer AND build out a professional, non-noob UI?

I've been pondering Unity for a while,. BTW, how long would it take to get the hang of it? (I am an intermediate programmer)

fun! well made, I see that you are using Unity, did you have to buy the full version to publish an app with it?
Also, the app store description says that it requires iOS 4.3 and later. Does this depend on the version of Xcode you are using? I recently released an app and it requires iOS 7.1 and later!
