News for hackers. Stuff that matters.

suraci

let's talk about North Korean and Chinese hackers
when I first watched Full Metal Jacket (as well as other films by Stanley Kubrick), I couldn’t understand a lot of the content - for example, the “War Face”
> China got here by using protectionism and stealing trade secrets

and uyghur forced labor!

Check these:

> Human Rights Watch warns carmakers over China forced labour risk

https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/human-...

> Carmakers may be using aluminium made by Uyghur forced labour, NGO investigation finds

https://www.theguardian.com/law/2024/feb/01/car-manufacturer...

> China: Carmakers Implicated in Uyghur Forced Labor

trust me bro
"a brainless (or dishonest) propagandist"
"a beautiful sight to behold" - Nancy Pelosi
'is turning into'

???

> Wow, almost all of your pro palestine submissions are flagged and dead. Did you know that?

> Yes, tell them to censor me he/him!

making fun of victims, then playing the victim, it's soooo classic

you really got the spirit

why 'third world war', afaik, wars never stops since the 'second world war'
yes, it shows supporting Palestinian is not welcome in here (and in the USA)

people don't like muslims, unless we're talking about muslims in China

Hahaha, I love this

and it's very funny -

support anti western culture and terrorism

it's funny that you put 'anti western culture' together with 'terrorism'

after the war in korea, the war in vietnam, the war in afghanistan, and the war in gaza

some people still can not figure out why 'anti western culture' and 'terrorism' come together

I'm a big fan of Cold War-era thriller films

there're also some good spy films at that time, but these are not as cool as thrillers such as The Thing and Invasion of the Body Snatchers

unfortunately or fortunately, there hasn't been such brilliant films since the end of the Cold War(I like The Facult, but it is not that good)

fortunately or unfortunately, I believe that such brilliant films are about to make a comeback

opinions like this always lead to two types of comments:

- the worst democracy is better than the best dictatorship (we are not the worst, others could be worse)

- the system is good and perfect, it's just a few bad actors ruining it (we can fix it as long as we fix these certain bad actors)

Guess what?

> "People think there's great vocational training in China; the vocational school in China is Apple." Author of "Apple in China"

Tesla built a huge EV manufacturing academy for the Chinese

Apple built a huge Phone manufacturing academy for the Chinese

Have __the Chinese__ said thank you once?

> But maybe just switch jobs if you are that upset about it?

That's the gentler way to strike.

As members of the working class, we technically have the freedom to choose which employer we sell our labor to - but we are forced to sell our labor an employer to survive

So, in reality, it's hard

It's like saying, "But maybe just don’t get sick if you can’t afford medical treatment"

Re:Why does Elon Musk love this socialist sci-fi series? on Thursday May 22, 2025 @09:54PM (#44069112)
base on the result, it shows that the majority thinkd "elon musk" and "socialist" are interesting discussions
(relatively)

I call this kind of nonsense that can be seen through at a glance an 'relatively honest lie'

those lines you quoted are nonsense that can be totally ignored without misunderstanding his point, those lines are like something as "get schwifty"

> Second, they can get schwifty by opening their markets and buying more from America

> Fifth, they could simply write checks to Treasury that help us get schwifty

tbo, all of this started since covid19 - at the beginning of biden's term

and at the end of Biden's term, Yellen delivered a fatal blow to US Treasury bonds

the only thing Trump can do is waiting for it to collapse, and take the chance to steal something in the process

i've said this once(got flagged ofc), but i'll repeat it:

trump is not the cause of the current US, trump is the result of the current US

I like Stephen Miran, I always like people who are (relatively) honest

Re:What happened to American manufacturing is not unusual on Wednesday May 21, 2025 @03:46AM (#44049248)
Disappointingly, before I clicked the link, I thought it would be a historical materialist analysis that would discuss the Netherlands or the British Empire
hey, maybe you cannot see it clear as you are in it

but, to me and to some others:

genocide, sanctions, invations, colonization, ...

these are very 'American' things

to be fair, these are not only 'American' things

> funny thing happened as well. eu and north america basically cut ties with china. a very large amount of debt was taken on to make china irrelevant

how it happened?
