Caution Your Blast | Senior Developers + Full stack developer | https://cautionyourblast.com | London, UK | Full-time | REMOTE/ONSITE hybrid

Caution Your Blast (CYB) is a collection of designers, researchers, and software engineers committed to using digital as a force for good. We love working together to solve complex problems and improve people’s lives - whether they be the citizens using services or the teams who build and operate them.

We’re a people-centric digital practice - our employees are at the heart of company decision-making and we seek to continually improve our processes and culture to make CYB a place we can all be proud of.

We are looking for senior and mid-level software developers to join our engineering practice, either working with our clients or on our own product, Give A Little (https://givealittle.co)

Our tech stack is largely Javascript, Typescript and NodeJS. We use Svelte where possible, have some APIs in Java, build our app for Give A Little in Kotlin (Android) and as you might suspect use databases - MySQL (RDS) for Give A Little. Infrastructure us currently AWS managed with Terraform. With client work our stack does vary depending on the needs of the client/project.

Re:Ask HN: Looking for side project ideas on Sunday May 24, 2020 @03:15PM (#23293871)
My company collaborated on a project to solve this problem (currently UK only, though the tech can expand anywhere given available datasets) - http://commuter.cc/. Unfortunately it’s a very challenging problem and there is very little interest from travellers, at least not enough to create a profitable business! So unlikely we are going to expand this any further.

Shameless plug, but if you need to set up a substitution agreement with another company, i.e. a "swapsies" partner, checkout https://agree.digital. It's generally a good idea to have documentation in place you can use as proof if HMRC come knocking!

RE: the employee number - You may not have physical access to the card, e.g. you only have CCTV footage of the employee doing whatever they're doing.

I use Spotify without a Facebook account. You have the option of logging in with your Facebook account, or creating a Spotify account.

Totally agree with this. I've used Quartz on and off for about 5 years and I've always been able to get it doing what I want relatively easily.
