Designers can label SVG elements in their design tools for effective coding collaboration with LLMs. A tool is presented to make this easier.
TLDR:
- SVG image files: powerful like HTML
- Supported widely in browsers
- Designer tools make SVGs
- SVGs are written in a language
- LLMs are great at manipulating language
- Designers can collaborate interaction into life

In some ways we are all building from the same source material. I put as much of the historical resources into this custom research page https://mechanical-library.org/mechanical-wonderland
Show HN: Exhibit and Site on Mechanisms for Students
https://mechanical-library.org/
Just finished a super-nerdy amateur hobby project: An exhibit and website to show kids how cool mechanisms are!Sadly, kids don't get much tangible experience with machines anymore. Ideally, this exhibit will inspire some to explore engineering, even if they are not "book learners". The website provides content to back up the exhibit, with videos and 3D printing files. The project is inspired by...
Ask HN: Good teen books/sites/resources for mechanisms?
There appear to be infinite resources for learning software, any suggestions on the mechanical side (besides Lego+FIRST)?Perhaps something like the Boston Museum of Science Clark Collection of Mechanical Movement
Ask HN: Research on Teaching Programming?
I’m helping some kids learn coding via Lego Mindstorms, and am shocked how complex the visual coding is, and how non transferable it is to “real” (text) coding. Are the mindstorms / Scratch based tools supported by research?Have we seen good examples of UIs that start with text? Thanks!
