Re:Stripe is no longer a suitable payment processor on Monday August 14, 2023 @05:19AM (#37119015)
I suspect it has something to do with their risk policy changes. A few months ago, my account was closed.

50 days after Stripe freezes the account

After Stripe froze my account, I started using PayPal and Shopify payments. I'm confused as to why PayPal and Shopify payments are allowed, but Stripe is not. It seems like this confusion is due to Stripe having a large user base! Their risk assessment team is overloaded.Currently, our PayPal and Shopify payments are working well, and we have made over $40,000 in revenue in the past month.It...

How can we prove to Stripe that we are not dropshipping?

Our business, which manages its own inventory, has been erroneously classified as dropshipping by Stripe. Despite providing inventory documents, the misunderstanding persists. Responses from Stripe are generic and unhelpful.Has anyone faced a similar issue and successfully resolved it? How can we effectively demonstrate our business model to Stripe?

I am writing this post to address a concerning situation. We've recently noticed some comments on HN from purported Stripe employees labeling us as a fraudulent business and accusing us of exaggerating our situation on social media. I want to set the record straight: we are not fraudsters, we are entrepreneurs.

We're not here to stir up drama or spread misinformation, but to seek help. Unfortunately, most of our interactions with Stripe's customer support have been met with automated responses, which haven't addressed our specific concerns.

We're hoping to connect with someone within Stripe who can provide more personalized attention to our situation or others who have encountered similar difficulties and found solutions.

Unjust Refunds by Stripe Despite Security Measures

We received a notice from Stripe citing unauthorized payments, and they decided to refund all the money in our account to our customers. But here's the catch - we had implemented 3D Secure 2.0 and Stripe Radar for all transactions, virtually eliminating the possibility of unauthorized payments. With each sale we made, we dispatched the purchased goods promptly. By the time Stripe initiated their...
