No, I don't think they are adapting well. I've seen 3d designer at my company adapting better on the disruption and paradigm shifts GPT-6 Astra is going to cause.
The 3D designers are in a tougher situation because it's far less of abstract issue then math, and yet the results are astounding. It's hard to believe until you see it yourself. It's surreal.
I mean, can't you just… prompt engineer your way out of this? A writer friend of mine literally just vibes with the model differently and gets genuinely interesting output.
AMERICANS aren't the world police.
Americans are starving, can't afford medical care, being shot at, and tons of atrocities to deal with AT HOME RIGHT NOW.
Exactly. I listened all the speeches at the WEF about AI.
Anthropic believes an AI God is coming.
didn't believe the quantum stuff, so I googled it. I'm shocked how far its come. Even China has some kind of photonic quantum chips now.
no choice we simply looked at hours worked via remote tracking.
you are 100% right.
I know people don't want to hear this . . . but at my mega large corp, we recently laid off hundreds people who basically didn't do this.
I'd love a 3d version of this
She threw molotov cockatails I don't think it's similar at all.
she was lucky she wasn't imprisoned or executed
"Soon, Mariona joined her new friends on "raids": a few of them would block off a street, throw Molotov cocktails, hand out leaflets, and when the police turned up, scatter in every direction."
okay she threw molotov cocktails, she was lucky she wasn't imprisoned.
I'm utterly shocked at the article saying GPU inference (PyTorch/Transformers)isn't working. Numerical instability produces bad outputs,
Not viable for real-time serving, Wait for driver/CUDA updates!
My job just got me and our entire team a DGX spark.
I'm impressed at the ease of use for ollama models I couldn't run on my laptop.
gpt-oss:120b is shockingly better than what I thought it would be from running the 20b model on my laptop.
The DGX has changed my mind about the future being small specialized models.
I think we hope he's losing it. If he's right about the "ai antichrist" stuff, that does seem like the worst timeline.
This is super interesting, would you have the same approach trying to solve this issue in 2025 ?
I like the ORM but Django has stagnated in so so many ways.
Most of my startup friends basically use Ruby on Rails for their startup webap, and python microservices these days.
If you know python (hate ruby) and like javascript well enough FastAPI and javascript frontends seems way better.
Is this the "nano banana" thing the art ai world was going crazy about recently ?
I think a Wharton Professor Ethan Mollick said it nicely: Whats the capex on creating GOD?
probably, there is huge pent up demand for "spicy" ai and image gen.
Reddit is full of it.
Elon Musk is clearly trying to differentiate his product virally, and its working.
It's a slow horror realizing who rules over us.
Never realized it before.
Because suing made the VCR, Napster, and DVRs disappear... Now Disney & Universal take on Midjourney to stop democratized AI art.

working in silicon valley and the new york dc corridor does that I guess.
Whoa this is black mirror dystopia level stuff!
my worry is the nukes too
You are arguing a strawman: patients unrealistically want doctors to have every fact memorised or to deliver an instant, definitive diagnosis.
What I'm really shocked about is that new AI tools are now fast enough—and regulated enough—to be used live at the point of care.
So why do I need to pay doctors as much money, when they themselves are using an off the shelf solution?
We do but in this hypercompetitive landscape. Our friends are also competitors for partners, jobs, and resources.
Which means you can't let non family members too close.
