I couldn't imagine letting such an insignificant thing negatively affect my feelings.
> This does not bode well for casinos.
For about 15 minutes until they figure out what's going on, take those folks out back and "convince" them to spill the beans on how it work, then come up with a way to detect and prevent it moving forward.
SingleFile has a nice batch download feature as well. It's a little rough around the edges, but useful when needed.
It's more just what happens when you don't have sensible monitoring and/or incident response.
> There is no reason for them to ever have an internet connection.
You can't know this.
That's if you're going through insurance. They'll scan anyone with a check in their hand.
even AI knows to avoid certain landmines
I'm getting, "hey man, could you help me up" vibes, to which my answer would be a resounding "NO!"
lol, sure, maybe if you squint real hard
You can do that even if it wasn't vibe coded. What a time to be alive!
Sure, in an ideal world, but in reality they can always come up with probable cause. All they have to do is say they smell something illegal, even if they don't. They can make up whatever they want, and there's not much one can do about it.
I wish my colleagues respected todo lists. Must be nice to just be able to get though a day without constant interruptions. ::sad face::
Some things are more than just jobs - they are callings. Journalism and teaching are two. People wouldn't do them if they were just jobs, because they don't pay enough to cover the headaches.
well, for one, my boss can use it and kinda understand it, so it must be dead simple
> make doing that a serious crime
Nitpick, but it would only make "showing others how to do that" a crime.
Funny how the more it keeps "declining", the more it stays the same. Once you realize there's nothing new under the sun, things become a lot less stressful. Things are only declining if you're looking for it, as has always been the case. [Insert quote about mountain and river here.] (And yes, I'm old AF.)
We're still in the AI-use-is-black-and-white phase. Most people still think it's more than just a tool still, cuz it still seems like magic to them. We'll get there, and then it will just be a tool like any other. Hopefully then we'll start holding the people behind it accountable when appropriate, instead of allowing it to be used as a scapegoat, as if it has agency.
I don't think it's possible to make it to the national level as an honest politician. Crony capitalism has ensured that every politician in Washington is bought and paid for in one way or another. God bless the few state and many local politicians that remain honest, and God bless their rose tinted glasses, too. Unfortunately, it never lasts.
Sure, if all you want to do is watch Europe continue to spiral down the shitter.
> sage advice on avoiding PHP
That's not sage advice. That's just biased, reactionary rhetoric. PHP is just as good or bad as anything else, and it's often the best tool for the job. As with any other language, it can be implemented correctly or incorrectly.
Surely you knew what they meant regardless
Of course there is, don't be silly. There's also no alternative at the moment, or for the foreseeable future. Sure, there's some knockoffs that try hard, but they're still jokes.
> I think the 24h cooldown is an excellent compromise
I don't. An hour would make the same point and provide the same level of protection. So would clicking through a few screens with very simple and easy to understand warning messages about the risk of scams. Sure, it's a compromise, but it's pretty much the opposite of excellent.
Yup... Love it! Get rekt negative space!
Technically, my laptop is a container!
Claude, build me a harness.
> How many lab rats is one person worth?
Zero, if there are alternatives.
Because it was upvoted as such.
Just cuz you're not impressed doesn't mean only bots are. That's a hell of a demo, and a sweet looking ride to boot.
