I also remember that talk. I haven't verified by watching again, but if anyone's interested I suspect this is the one: https://youtu.be/eNliOm9NtCM

OOI, is godeb[0] the something that worked? It "transforms upstream tarballs for the Go language in deb packages and installs them". It's always worked well for me.

Re:Spotify moves its back end to Google Cloud on Tuesday February 23, 2016 @06:12PM (#11163136)
We are much smaller, but also use the Google paid support.

I'd echo the sentiment here: my experience of the paid support for GCP has been universally excellent across Compute Engine, App Engine, BigQuery and Cloud Storage. This is across 30ish tickets, some of them quite complex.

Would you be willing to say why you hated it?

Naming your Google Apps organisation with your own name has at least one amusing side effect: "This form was created inside of Andrew McDonough". (Probably true, literally speaking...)
If you're looking for examples of problems, RFC7159 (http://rfc7159.net/rfc7159) is a good place to start - just search for 'interop', as suggested by [1]. A quick look at Miscue-js suggests you already check for most of them, but you might still find something new.

I think (but am not certain) that when any part of an article moves past the orange triangle, it is marked as read.

Have you given the 'd' keyboard shortcut a go?
Re:How can we get Google Support? on Wednesday April 10, 2013 @07:33AM (#5524456)
Another 'me too' from here, but I'd also add the I've found the support uniformly excellent across Apps and the 'Cloud Platform' (App Engine, Cloud Storage etc.).

Interestingly, it's been the sales interactions I've found most frustrating - once you're large enough to have outgrown the online purchasing mechanisms for Google Apps, for example, provisioning new accounts is a world of pain.

Thanks so much (and sorry to take a while to reply) - I'm doing exactly what you suggested, and it's going pretty well.

The pain in the injured wrist has subsided enough that it's capable of occasional hunt-n-peck duty, and with that I can manage a pretty decent speed.

Ask HN: One-handed typing aids

I broke my wrist, and need to type one-handed for a few weeks. I'm looking for hardware/software recommendations, preferably suitable for an Ubuntu-using developer.Things I'm already considering: http://goo.gl/jtp3J

I suspect it's only a matter of time before someone reveals it for you - it didn't take much Google-fu to find it out.

I believe it's your decision whether to name your company (so I'm not going to do it for you), but I doubt everyone who might be interested will feel the same way.
