Even in the of law there are various schenanigans and loopholes such as "legally true" :)

FYI, that is a long sentence, a few industry jargon lingo that I wasn't familiar with:

> "Cisco ThousandEyes is a digital experience assurance (DXA) SaaS platform which applies machine-learning capabilities on top of synthetic active monitoring conducted from points of visibility around the world to surface actionable insights about the performance and reliability of critical applications and network infrastructure and provide customers a way to go from a telescope view to a microscope view of any issue to understand its blast radius and quickly get to MTTI/MTTR."

Brilliant, genius idea, defo worth trying.

Archchair business strategist, snippet from the homepage: "Exercism is fun, effective and 100% free, forever"

Business model: "I've lost faith in the nonprofit business model"

Also noting changing in the IT market, tech layoffs, AI revolution, less demand for tech workers.

Hope it will work out for you!

SOP = standard operating procedure.

I would be surprised if it was otherwise.

Why no screen Fridays, as opposed to a weekend day?
Re:To revive Portland, officials seek to ban public drug use on Wednesday December 13, 2023 @08:08AM (#38626779)
Worth differentiating recreational drugs that are not perfectly fine to use and continue with normal (if not better) life.

VS

Fentanyl. Opioid epidemics. Addition as business model.

See the chart: https://www.economist.com/graphic-detail/2019/06/25/what-is-...

I'm worried that cannabis is less likely to be legalised elsewhere due to pharma drugs being so harmful.

Search function? I always use search... Much faster than trying to put stuff in docs.
This is exactly stuff I'm interested in, factual source information, as opposed to media bullshit.

That is good right? Watch the PART 2: https://plandemicseries.com/ (Event 201)

Putin captured media headlines. Speaking of Putin, Russia is probably the only country that benefits from melting Arctic - opening Northwest Passage - figured it out after debating with a bunch of climate change deniers on Twitter.

(I enjoy debating, I had fun doing it, at some point they were quitting, if they were like me they would continue debating)

In all seriousness, I'm working on Metacrisis - a new term reaching mainstream consciousness:

— Runaway climate change + food system + global hunger

— Economic inequality + compound interest + exponential growth on finite planet

— Nuclear proliferation + pandemics + lost trust in media + lost trust in government

— Regulation of AI + polarisation and engagement metrics + mental health

Problem well defined is problem half solved

This should be illegal.

Luckily we have regulators to prevent such abuses.

Firefox is guilty of the same thing. I was spinnign some VM in the cloud and I was WTF Firefox showing me all this crap on the homepage.
Once upon a time - corporate environment - budget for learning - I've sent the title of the book and the link - intention to supporting the author.

The PDF was available on the 1st page of Google. At the end we did not complete the purchase - person responsible for shopping sent me pirated copy.

(I hear what you say)

Haters gonna hate.

Builders gonna build.

The most impactful technology since the internet.

Changes trust, governance, economy, incentives.

Changes everything.

I guess there is no point trying to convince you?

The most important technology since the internet.

Changes the foundation of trust, governance, economy, incentives.

New operating system for humanity.

(and there is no way to stop it, countries who will ban it will go into dark ages while other will prosper)

Blockchain is the most impactful technology since the internet.

It changes everything - foundation of trust. New economy. New incentives.

“If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.”

I'm pretty sure some people were angry at the internet 30 years ago.

> "we need to find a way to change the incentives globally"

Shameless plug: basex.com

> BaseX measures "triple bottom line" - People Planet Prosperity - new definition of value - accounting for environmental impact and wellbeing.

It's is all about incentives.

Excellent execution.

I did something similar myself: https://github.com/genesisdotre/Bitcoin-Games-nLightning-Min...

(with lightning network, streaming satoshis per second)

Quick feedback: - load instantly (don't wait for page to load) - choose the whole day - I'm from Europe, using 24 hours clock here

(I would like to use it around the clock by default)

"professional slacker who knows all these psychological tricks"

You are my spiritual brother!

Same here...

I was really motivated in my 1st and 2nd job after leaving uni. Then the gravity kicks in, realized that noone wants me to work extra hard as that only makes other people look bad.

Majority of my mental energy in relation to drugs, some consideration:

- having a mortgage and life insurance attached to it

- parents prevented contact with their children due to government intervention

- people in jail for possession of drugs

- safe driving limits

- undoing 50+ years of propaganda and social conditioning

Germany phasing out nuclear and opening new coal.

Business as usual.

Well done. Bravo. No irony. Really well done. Thank you for showing the way.

Here is some legislation from 2000: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulation_of_Investigatory_Po...

20 years in life of internet is a lot. Same arguments. Remarkable.

Just from the past couple of months:

• Kashmir: https://netblocks.org/reports/pakistan-shuts-down-internet-i...

• Russia: https://netblocks.org/reports/evidence-of-internet-disruptio... • Bangladesh: https://www.economist.com/news/2019/09/04/bangladesh-bans-mo...

• Sudan: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/06/13/end-mass-...

• London: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/london-tube-...

"Shutting down digital infrastructure in response to a peaceful protest is deeply authoritarian," said Griff Ferris, legal and policy officer at Big Brother Watch."

I've heard they did not shut down internet in Hong Kong as lots of mainland China is routed via Hong Kong...

It helps to get into the mindset of a politician...

Different incentives.

I was rushing with https://genesis.re/book/ to finish before the UN.

Hope it helps.
