It's right under the title for me.
Do you remember a time when not all articles were written by LLMs?
"What's the proper way to influence improperly?"
Over the probability that you'll find something.
This seems like an interesting project but the Claude writing rubs me the wrong way. I couldn't finish it, unfortunately, but props for building it!
The entire point of a rewrite is to get rid of the behaviour you don't want, while you keep the behaviour you do want. Consider the pathological case: Rewriting your FORTRAN codebase in Rust would obviously be useless if you had to reimplement every bug in the rewrite.
An LLM doesn't have enough context to know what you so and don't want. If you give it call logs for every function that was called and how, maybe, but a seasoned engineer will have more context around what the company needs.
Eh, it's just an extra "what".
This is just such a weird take. By that logic, even the Nazi party weren't Nazis before they came into power.
What, you don't burn your car and drive it off a cliff on its three-year anniversary?
I noticed the exact same thing, and I also don't want the LLM to suggest anything to me. I do want it to comment, and to tell me what could be improved, but not to give me text.
I created a small tool to make this easier: https://www.writelucid.cc/. It's free (bring your own API key), feedback would be appreciated.
Yes, I used Claude Design. I'm not amazed by the colours, because they look LLMy, but it's much better than anything I could do by hand.
That's how my UK friends speak. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Hey everyone! I couldn't find an app to organize trips that gave me all the info I wanted to schedule each stop per day, with travel times, leeway, etc, so I made Wherewhen. The basic differentiator is that you can set various constraints (e.g. "I want to spend 2 hours in the park", or "I have a dinner reservation at 6"), and Wherewhen will automatically adjust the rest of the times to tell you...
It's not stereotyping when it can be applied to basically every country in the world, including the US.
And it would also set later, which is my personal preference as a Greek.
Every single comment I've seen here seems to miss that, in the UK, "else" is the preferred word to use in these contexts.
"We'd better hurry, else we'll be late", or "I could go to a pub, else we can just stay home" is exactly the correct UK usage.
I guess the UK largely isn't up yet, hence this sort of comment missing.
That is exactly the correct UK usage.
"Else" is definitely extremely commonly used in English today, just not in the US. The UK says "else" instead of otherwise. "We'll see if the bar is open, else we can go across the street".
I always understood "falls" as "in case" (as in, preparing for a slightly unlikely outcome), but my German is weak.
You meant to write "being frugal", I think.
I think they meant it as in "an article archived by archive.today had malware links injected into the archived article."
What was the answer? That it's ricin because it'd never work?
"Stars", if I'm being pedantic.
Whenever I look at reviews for something, e.g. a restaurant, I always sort by worst and see what they say. If it's some dealbreaker like "I found a rat in my food", then I'm outta there. If it's "the service was slow this one time", I can live with it.
I don't pay any attention to the positive reviews at all, except just for the number of them.
It just doesn't have object permanence yet!
What would feel different?
By that definition, a vacuum is wet.
I have to admit I don't know exactly what a software factory is, but I can't imagine AI putting out good software without human involvement right now.
