Nice tool

Suggestion : Filtering seems to work only on object keys at the outermost level (e.g full_name in demo). It would be nice to be able to filter inner keys as well (e.g html_url in demo)

Inspite of making so many mistakes, Yahoo is still one of the top 10 most visited sites. What is working for them?

Isn't it easier to build a package or library for one of the existing languages instead? 1. There are so many powerful & mature languages like Python, Java, PHP with vast communities. They can help spread the word. 2. There is quite a bit of rework involved in developing a new language - such as creating new syntax for loops, conditions, variable types, handling memory allocation, etc...

1,2) Agree. I just wanted to get something out of the door :) 3) I didn't think of it that way. Will update it. 4) You can set the dashboard to auto refresh. The button seemed redundant as people are so used to hitting f5 or refresh icon on their browsers 5) Working on it 6) Yes. You download a local agent to your laptop. It can connect to your local databases. No need to enable remote access.

Tech questions: Jquery-UI for drag & drop. D3 for visualizations.

This is not entirely true. Social media & blogging have indeed provided an alternative to TV news. It has actually changed the "entrenched structure". Even established media giants use tweets or posts to spread information. How many of us prefer tuning in to local news station instead of just logging into fb/t/g+ to stay updated? These platforms have been built by programmers who I am sure are happy about the impact they have created.
