Show HN: Verified n8n community node for Anytype

https://github.com/splch/n8n-nodes-anytype

I built an n8n integration for Anytype, the local-first encrypted PKM app. It supports full CRUD on objects and spaces plus raw API requests for anything custom. Verified by n8n, so it installs directly from the nodes panel!Anytype's API is relatively new, so this is one of the first automation integrations available for it. If you use both n8n and Anytype (or are curious about either), I'd...

Re:Ask HN: HP Dev One, any buyers remorse? on Tuesday October 04, 2022 @02:50PM (#33084930)
I've been using a framework with Fedora and so far the experience has been fantastic. The only cons I've noticed is half the battery life of my MBP and loud fans. I'm often near an outlet and don't do CPU-heavy tasks unplugged, so the framework has been all I need and I'm listening to music so I don't notice the fans. I would seriously consider a framework instead of HP.
Re:Ask HN: Does Hacker News still do in person meet ups? on Monday September 19, 2022 @05:03PM (#32903919)
An LA event would be a lot of fun!
What are you using now? I've only heard of GNU Savannah.
You could always install a different OS on your son's Chromebook since it would still have access to all of the school's software (through Chrome) and more. I'd recommend GalliumOS (https://galliumos.org/) since the drivers support audio and keyboard shortcuts better.

Re:Optimizing Your Wife on Thursday December 09, 2021 @09:04PM (#29505635)
I did a variation on this in high school, where the wife (in this case) would also have to choose you. So it was at what point you stop searching if your partner is also playing the same game. It makes more sense imo since you can't just decide that someone will marry you.
why do i want this aesthetic for my own site? oh god

discovered this site this year! super thankful for that :)
I don't like requiring a chrome extension to search, and giving a 404 error on uninstall (https://you.com/chrome_uninstall_survey) is suspicious. If the developers aren't checking links and testing their product, then I don't want to use it.
Re:Ask HN: How were video games from the 90s so efficient? on Friday November 05, 2021 @11:37PM (#29127298)
I love this video: https://youtu.be/ZWQ0591PAxM

As part of a Kickerstarter campaign, Morphcat Games made this video explaining how they eked out a really incredible game with only 40 Kb (a lot like Super Mario Bros 2). I definitely recommend checking this out as they go over interesting compression methods and more general thought processes.
