To be completely honest, I'm considering an old TV that has DVD and VHS inserts and going back to physical media.

I remember noticing that a little note appeared on my son's Imagination Library books that said something to the effect of "Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry paid for this book" which seems like a great way to support local kids and (maybe?) act as marketing. I certainly became interested in that dental practice, but then we moved away before my infant needed a dentist.
This is why I like to have a minimum age requirement on package releases. Something like at least 2 or 3 days.
I'm so glad you had this experience (genuinely). My husband and I were treated very well here in the US when he was diagnosed with cancer and I'm so grateful to the doctors, nurses, admins, and the cancer center we were treated at for that. It takes so much off the plate when you just have to focus on 1) showing up for infusions and then 2) going home to rest.
As a caretaker to my husband who had cancer and is now in remission, here are some caretaker tips:
- Take it one day at a time
- Schedule time for yourself fairly often to do things you like that are away from treatment and away from your home
- Prioritize sleep!
- Set up a meal train so at least some meals are taken care of. We prioritized chemo weeks for our meal train
- Make a countdown to important milestones. It's okay to wish this time in your life away
- You will feel lonely. Have some friends you know you can call
- Find a cancer caregiver support group. Other cancer caregivers "get it" better than others
- Celebrate the milestones, all the time, forever
> likely best used for small subagent tasks / tightly scoped work.
Hasn't this always been the case with Haiku?
I too use November 2025 as a true turning point.
This sounds like a nice idea for a day or two, but I think how it presents in reality could be rough. The power grid might be down for a few days causing food spoilage, it could be taking down banks so people don't have access to their money, it could be screwing up IT at a hospital which interferes with treatment and care, we may not be able to fill up our gas tanks... I don't think it'll be "nefarious-gun-on-a-robot-dog" any time soon, but rather something that still causes major major issues.
It feels like propoganda.
> Tailwind's business model existed due to a massive inefficiency
Yeah, that's why most businesses form.
Excellent tip, thank you!
Could you share the specific mg/week taper you did for Sertraline?

> To people asking why, this is a good lesson on the Collison’s ambitions.
Where can I read more on Collison's ambitions?
Cats make certain people's opinions about consent quite clear.

Can I make a feature request? I would love to be able to search by author. I recently started Caro's LBJ series (it's amazing so far) and I'm curious how many awards he's won. Anywho, I love non-fiction so I plan to visit this website often. Thank you and great work!
Beautiful. I'm going to use some of these to make a coloring book for my toddler.
Yes. We are right to be suspicious due to the main goal of start ups and corporations: profit for their shareholders. Theranos will always be in the back of my mind regarding healthcare technology start ups.
> The wrong strategy is to push every engineer to use infinite tokens. Companies doing this are celebrating 500% more pull requests. But customer outcomes don't match the volume of code being generated.
The goal is 100x output BUT NOT 500% more pull requests, folks.
Power dynamics. Usually the person making the giant PRs is the one with all the sway. An earlier-career engineer is unlikely to push back against that level of influence.
I loved it too. I audibly laughed at this one:
"Korean girl Short I didn't know how to start a conversation with her, so I just asked if she was Korean and she said yes. Then I made her guess what kind of Asian I am. Then I rambled about being Asian in Syracuse before leaving. I initiated one more conversation but now we don't interact"
So endearing!
> "Going to the gym, talking to strangers at the gym, ... these are both artifical replacements for human activity that is missing."
As opposed to what, our ancient hunter gatherer lifestyle? Going to the gym and talking to strangers at the gym isn't an "artificial replacement", it's a genuine activity lots of people do.
> "You try to form friendships with strangers because your daily routine lacks real and fulfilling interactions with other people."
How do you think people make friends? They make friends by interacting with people at shared spaces and activities.
In parallel, they're also starting to downgrade their quality. In the latest season of Stranger Things there's a wild amount of in-scene exposition, where the characters explain what's happening while it's happening. I did some digging and learned that they may be dumbing down their shows because they know users typically look at their phones while watching Netflix and users are more likely to drop off of a show if they don't know what's going on.

Edit: I did really enjoy Frankenstein.
Whenever I use Django, I enjoy it. Simple as.
> "If I delete a card, does it count against the 1000 cards?"
> "Yes, every card you create is counted, even cards that are deleted later. Each card ID increments by 1, so the next card you create will always show you how many cards you’ve created so far."
