SaaS Feature Teardown Analysis

Is someone building a product or service that does a detailed teardown analysis of SaaS features, say by feature area? For example, if I'm building a "Team" feature, I want to know how have other products have implemented it. How does the workflow look like? UI? UX?There are probably thousands of other products that have built and implemented the same feature, so seems kind of inefficient that I...

SaaS teardown for efficient feature development

Hi HN!While building SaaS products, I always end up wishing that there was a product or service that could provide me with a teardown analysis of specific feature areas from popular SaaS products out there. For example, if I'm building a "Team" feature, I want to know how have other products have implemented it. Hi HN,

We just launched Vocally.us - a tool to collect qualitative feedback from your users, customers, employees or market using intuitive voice surveys.

We built Vocally.us because despite working with tons of data in our past, we always felt like there was something missing the connected quant metrics (the What) with qualitative rationale (the Why).

We think that Product, Research and Marketing teams could all benefit for a tool that connects the What to the Why by making it easier to capture quant and qual data and connecting the dots between them.

Here's a short demo survey you can take yourself: http://bit.ly/Vocallyus-short-demo

Here's a full-featured version: http://bit.ly/Vocallyus-full-featured-demo

Obviously there are tons of features missing and a long roadmap ahead, but would love to get your feedback on what you think of our stab at the MVP.

Welcome all feedback and comments.

Cheers!

While working in technology in biz ops and strategy roles, I found that it is generally difficult to screen candidates for non-technical roles using just a resume. Degrees don't necessarily correlate with on-the-job skills.

Instead, I found actual take-home assignments to be a much better predictor of a candidate's on-the-job performance and hence a better method of screening.

This was the inspiration for building this tool. It's free to use. Welcome all feedback and suggestions.
