I move around the office all day and there are a lot of wifi networks, most of them flaky. I keep ending up stuck on a bad one for wherever I'm sitting and having to guess which to switch to. So I built roamr: it tells you which of your saved networks is actually best where you are, and why. You still switch yourself.
mac (brew), windows (scoop), linux not fully tested. https://github.com/sourabh-khot65/roamr

Not released yet, but it's actively in progress.

Just tried it with my hotspot on - turns out it kind of already does. A hotspot is a WiFi network, so roamr saw it and recommended switching to it. It just can't see the cellular quality behind it, only the WiFi link.
Ask HN: How to manage sessions with OpenAI's chat completion API?
Hi HN community, How can I efficiently manage sessions for OpenAI's chat completion API to remember past conversations? My current method of sending all previous data each time feels inefficient. Any suggestions?
