She doesn't write about the fashion of the victims at all. Rather she talks about about the trauma. She talks about how the delays for fashions show. Hints at controversy with some designers dropping out and hosting their own releases.
She's writing this article on September 20 so it's not like she can talk about long term effects either.
Edit: Reread your comment and I realized I misunderstood. I think we're in agreement that there wasn't any immediate effects to the fashion industry that she could write about. Although... Now I'm curious what the long term impacts actually were
There are so, so many accounts of 9/11 that focus on the facts and the immediate tragedy. But I'm willing to bet that 9/11 impacted industries and people significantly even if they weren't directly involved.
I have little to no interest in fashion, but I'd find an article on the impact of 9/11 on the fashion capital of North America a much more interesting read than another collection of facts.
Edit: I do appreciate the dude's commitment to burning our messages though!
One of the biggest things that comes to mind for me is that in software engineering a junior engineer can legally build, deploy, and launch a critical project.
In other engineerings, projects require sign-off from a licensed (P.Eng in Canada) engineer. And the engineer that signs off on that project is the one held liable for its success or failure.
Personally, I've loved software engineering for the above as it's let me grow my career much more easily, but I do think of it as a stark difference in engineering and "software engineering".
I'm like the author of the article and largely I don't need a selfie camera. It's useful to have in the rare cases where I need to video chat or need a digital mirror real quick.
I'm actually very disappointed that the newer OnePlus 7T went back to having a camera notch but I suppose that means that enough of their customers didn't like the feature.
I'm just wondering if that would protect your ears, do as much harm, or double it.
