Location: Vietnam (UTC+7)

Remote: Yes, worldwide

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: Zig, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, distributed systems, LLM/AI infrastructure

Software architect / hands-on engineer with 20+ years of professional experience.

My main strength is system architecture: designing complex backend platforms, distributed systems, high-load infrastructure and integrating them into working products. I stay close to implementation and regularly build core components myself rather than working only at the architecture level.

Background includes telecom infrastructure, payment processing, cloud platforms, distributed data systems, R&D and several CTO/lead roles. More recently I've been working with Zig, Go, TypeScript, Kubernetes and LLM-based automation.

I'm especially interested in architecture-heavy problems, backend/platform engineering, performance, distributed systems, infrastructure and applied AI.

Currently available for remote contract/freelance work and can start immediately. Short, difficult engineering projects are welcome.

Show HN: Cigarette Rocket Booster – a rocket where the body itself is fuel

https://github.com/solenopsys/CRB

CRB (Cigarette Rocket Booster) is a rocket concept where the body itself is the fuel. Instead of thousands of parts, tanks, pumps, and valves, it is built around essentially one 3D-printed structure that serves as the vehicle, fuel mass, and nozzle array. The goal is radical simplification and launch costs starting from $500 per kilogram for small payloads.

Show HN: Converged – open-source ops layer for CNC shops and print bureaus

https://github.com/solenopsys/converged

A CNC shop or print bureau has two kinds of work: making things, and everything around it — incoming requests, client messages, order statuses, file handling, queue management, notifications, "is it ready yet?" at 11pm.Converged handles the second part. It connects to the equipment (3D printers via Bambu/Marlin/Klipper, CNC machines), reads telemetry, manages work distribution across the fleet,...
