Re:Manifestos, Fear, and 'Loser Thinking': Inside Proton's AI Reckoning

This expedited my decision to move away from Proton. I had stuck around because the Mail offering was ‘good enough’, but I don’t think it’s acceptable to have a security product infested with slop and developed carelessly. I am hoping Kagi’s email product comes sooner rather than, or I may just go to Fastmail.

Admittedly, Apple has “refused” to do many things over the years (pen support on iPad comes to mind) and yet ends up doing them. Apple refuses to do something until they want to sell it.
FWIW, I don’t understand the appeal of this device at all, but I don’t expect much consistency from Apple.

An interesting concept. I'm (probably) one of the few people that thought the Humane Pin had an interesting idea at its core, it was just executed poorly at the wrong time. A stationary version that leans into ambience solves a lot of the interaction and engineering issues.
I also like that it addresses my gripe with XR interfaces; you aren't actually sharing a digital object in space and it looks weird to everyone else.

I find comma.ai’s work pretty fascinating compared to the bigger fish in the self-driving world. There’s something quite human about it versus the Waymo’s and Tesla’s of the world.

Bean is also slang for clitoris, at least in the UK.
Ploopy has a good sense of humour, the Knob page being the prime example.

I hope one day that Matrix becomes this, but it doesn't seem likely. Fingers crossed Proton at least does it one day.

Using a cross-platform password manager, like Bitwarden or 1Password, would work in your case.

Absolutely, everyone I recommend BW to appreciates the notes feature as well - it's handy to have a place to jot down important things that aren't log-ins!
