In general, AI is as impactful as any technology can be. However, for those of us who like to enjoy the process (the act of gathering the info, structuring them and editing them), whether it be writing code, or writing in general, there's a joy in the act of building - straight up finished pieces of work handed over to you, robs you of this space to think and formulate your own views.
I do agree on the "existential crisis" part of it. At work, every time I see someone sign-off of something AI generated without much edits, I feel this fear that we're on to slippery slope where there's no turning back.
Can you kindly elaborate on steps 4 and 5?
How do you do that post-mortem? I can agree, let's say if the problem is 'pick top k elements', and you already know what needs to be done, you can hone in on what went wrong. But in cases where you don't know how to come up with the steps, how do you go about that?
Thanks!
Really great example of how to build indie projects. You built a solution to a problem you've personally experienced, and you solve it for others who may face the problem. Congratulations, good work! Also, site is very clean. I would give a try if I were making music.
You maybe able to target a wider audience given your product is now mature. If you are willing and able to scale, maybe a SEO / Marketing specialist will be helpful in taking it to the next level.
Well-deserved success, and very inspirational!
Developer Tune-Up by Neil on Software is a similar categorization of skills and growth areas. it's worth giving a try.
Congrats on the launch. I haven't heard of other businesses approaching the market, with similar angles (fresh, non-GMO). There's a trend now for boutique food brands - maybe you can ride this wave well. Goodluck to you again!

My opinion of Sapiens is the same as well - very broad strokes. I feel Sapiens is heavily promoted because of ease in which the content flows? - maybe that's the selling point of the book?

The article definitely points out the wrongs done by IMF/World bank. Are there any resources you can point me to, such as data / financial reports which highlight how the resources are misused / mishandled?
At a personal level, it seems to me that this phenomenon could be applied to e-books as well. I have hundreds of kindle books I bought from amazon which aren't read yet. This is how it happens. You see a book, and you want it in your library and you imagine one day you'll get the time to enjoy it, but that day never arrives.
The proliferation of book recommendation systems and the websites which create lists of "To read" books are to be blamed as well. Maybe not. One thing author talks about: preserving books for the next generation, that doesn't apply to e-books either in the physical.
Interesting!
If you ask me, it does not make justice to compare salaries across countries. May be comparing salary within the industry, within a specific market might make sense.
Just with the data / samples gleaned from this website, I will not be able to make any proper assumptions / statistic.
I've been using it for a month now. Can't recommend it more.
I think majority of what you ask for, in reality, can be achieved by pursuing emotional growth. "Emotional Intelligence", as scholarly might call it.
If you ask me, "Food babe" is as credible as whale.to.
If we make such a list, it would help us overcome the Survivorship Bias.

That's what I have on my Chrome.
While abuse of food affects your body, porn affects your mental abilities and along with it the ability to interact with others. Porn, like termites will eat away the very fabric of society. I challenge everyone who reads this comment to do research on their own.
Porn might not be as addictive as psychoactive drugs, but it is dangerous left unchecked. It is violence against your mind itself.
I just ordered mine today.
Doesn't seem to work anymore. The price I get is $299.
One thing for sure, We aren't filling up earth's surface at that speed. I'm agnostic about the other issues surrounding population growth, but the authors would've made more impact if they used real ratios ( like land surface used per person, a certain natural resource consumed per person, etc.)
Or, you can videotape yourself and then watch the past whenever you want.
