Russia isn't "literally threatening a large portion of the world with nuclear annihilation". Any 'threat' they have issued has been in response to 'threats' issued by 'our' side... including at the time UK PM Liz Truss being willing to push the nuclear button against Russia. If that's not a threat then neither is Russia saying that they'll be willing to use nukes too.

Our politicians together with our sycophantic media and their weapons salesmen talking heads really do spread the most egregious disinformation throughout every wartime situation we are involved in, by proxy or otherwise.

Yes, musculoskeletal injury is very common in manual jobs. But whether it's opiates today or whiskey in the past, the means to combat pain from work related injuries must have a negative effect on lifespan.

Is that health awareness and adherence learned behaviour though? Men have precisely zero need for healthcare until something goes wrong, but women have various screening programmes as well as contraceptive and maternity/children needs, among other things. This keeps them in regular contact with the healthcare system - where they can be offered unrelated services and advice - throughout their lives.

It could well be, although if the situation was reversed and oestrogen was a suspect I think a worldwide state of emergency would be declared until a solution was found.

C++ used to be a superset of C too before they diverged, but Objective C and C++ are/were viewed, correctly, as different languages from the same family.

But if somebody writes in Objective C, the C parts don't make it C.
The issue is with live streams of audio or virtual instruments with CPU heavy effects with very small amount of buffering (typically 64 samples @ 48kHz, which is 0.75ms). Also processing of instruments and effects for one track (+ relevant busses) has to be in series so more cores doesn't help a resource hungry signal chain. But of course they do greatly help overall effect/instrument count over many tracks.
I watched the CLion sales pitch video after reading the recommendation. Binging around for the features shown I then discovered Visual Assist[1] which seems to add comparably nifty code completion/generation etc features to Visual Studio. I'm demoing it just now, it's definitely worth a look if you have an itch that needs scratching.

It's better to add bells and whistles on top of a rock solid foundation such as VS than the other way around imo.

Yes that, plus it could be that MacBook/Pros are popular with students: many of whom create lots of tiny Hello World etc repos.
There are so many variables involved that the reality is more fuzzy, and the concept certainly isn't 'laughable'.
