Why don't you use markdown and convert it using pandoc or something. HTML files aren't really readable as notes.
My brain just automatically ignores the paragraph with the bold letters. I'm having to force myself to focus on reading it. Does anyone else experience the same?
I found this book sometime ago and it looks very interesting. https://mitpress.mit.edu/sites/default/files/sicp/full-text/...
Re:Ask HN: Should I learn Emacs in 2022? on Thursday March 17, 2022 @06:57AM (#30709705)
I'm also guilty of this haha. I spent a huge amount of time setting up a tiling window manager, basically recreating every feature XFCE has by default. Now I realize that what I needed was just tmux.

Ask HN: Should I learn Emacs in 2022?

I've learnt vim and have a good setup for programming already. I started learning/using emacs recently enticed by all the features I hear about. I think I'll need to spend some time with it to utilize it efficiently. Is learning emacs worth it? I see hardcore emacs users complaining about how bad e-lisp is and macros causing RSI.

Exactly my thoughts! I installed Arch a while back but it was taking too long to boot up (I use a pretty ancient laptop). So I went back to good ol' Debian.
Haha yeah You can never know what you get.
I get your point. But, there is a lot of middle ground. Example: This site https://kinduff.com has a good colorscheme while being minimal.
There are a lot of minimal websites with great content still up.

I'm hindu but don't find any harm in learning about other religions.

Using an Ad blocker and whitelisting websites you want to support is the only viable way to browse the Internet now.
