The hottest kpi to optimize against is now freed tb of memory
Very cool! I'd love to see support for figma or Photoshop, perhaps it's already possible via export to an image format, but native would be cool.

Was that the one where they removed a bunch of big positions to make it positive (was it training cost, I forgot)?

Reminds me of the time NK tried to steal 1bn from the new NY Federal Reserve Bank: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangladesh_Bank_robbery -- they only managed to steal 80mm due to human intervention from a single employee of pan asia bank

No, let them paint.
With AWS this compares to EMF with (additional) properties?

You get logs with full content + metrics you can query.

Or am I missing something?

But why read it? Just point your agent at it and use your personalized project exploration skill.
> Agents are most useful when they can read files, install packages, call APIs, and use credentials. OpenShell gives them that capability without giving them unrestricted access to your data, secrets, or network.

To me this obfuscates an oxymoron: the more access you give the agent the more capable it becomes. You can't have you cake and eat it, this tool allows to strike a balance I guess. But the blurp reads like it can do it all, but now secure. That can't be true.

Maybe they want to save their extraction & profile curves per recipe in the cloud or something. Or for less advanced devices, simply notifications to change the filter I guess.

Yes, Ikea copies iconic designer lamps often very closely. I thinks its great, but also love to have some select pieces as functional art.
Re:The designer lamps in my house on Monday October 05, 2026 @01:56PM (#49968144)
I love iconic minimal lamps too. I never saw the Lampe de Bureau nor the Kismas Lamp 01, love them! You might like the Muuto Post.

Perhaps because her goal wasn't to become a better writer, but because she wanted to get her view out there?

And that's not slop, it's the real smoking load bearing foot gun.

The bot snippets talk claudish. I'd say Opus 5. But they must be Cyber Verification Program approved by Anthropic I suppose for the LLM not to block them.
The missing seam was a smoking footgun

It does take the idea further by anchoring the design system in real world objects.

Are these examples or an exhaustive list? Eating dinner during the week is.. not a lot. So I assume it's about setting time limits for these activities?

Great Scott, I think we just hit someone!
Because risk/benefit assessment is different from person to person.

What is being referred to here? Does "else" refer to ZGC, Shenandoah?

What does arcane env conditions mean?

Re:The brain may be about to have its Ozempic moment on Tuesday August 11, 2026 @05:38PM (#49264859)
It's in the article no?

> Orexin antagonists (which block the molecules’ actions rather than mimicking it, and thus promote sleep), have been available since 2014 as treatments for insomnia. They work differently from conventional sleeping pills, which enhance GABA, one of the brain’s main inhibitory neurotransmitters. Birgitte Kornum, an expert on orexins at the University of Copenhagen, says such pills induce sedation rather than natural sleep and often lose effectiveness with continued use. Orexin antagonists instead turn down the brain’s wakefulness signal, letting its sleep-promoting systems take over. Evidence suggests this produces better sleep, with less risk of dependence and fewer long-term problems.

Right, all these non-obsessed fanatics wasted their life. And don't get me even started on non-fanatics!
Re:Aristotle quotes on virtue, knowledge, and happiness on Wednesday August 05, 2026 @05:08PM (#49189035)
By 'destined' I assume you mean 'there was never a way their life would play out other than them becoming slaves'. But the word 'meant' and 'destiny' carry a meaning of "it is the right thing to happen", which I think we all agree is not the case.
There's the component of suffering for sure, but I think being a functional member of society is the most important. So if you don't annoy anyone with your abnormalities you are more likely to be considered sane.
