BotBicker is a site to get two sides on an issue by randomly assigning two LLMs to debate a topic. I built it as a way to explore ideas without getting stuck in an echo chamber, but I"m also using it now to avoid LLMs telling me what they think I want to hear. It's free, and no login is required, debates start streaming immediately and take a few minutes (opening, rebuttals, 4 rounds on QA, and...

I've been frustrated by the quality of our media, it often presents strong arguments for one side, and straw man for the other. So I built a tool where LLMs argue opposite sides of a debate as a way exploring a topic more deeply. Each side is randomly assigned a model (pro or con), and the idea is to surface the best arguments from both perspectives.Currently, it uses GPT-4, Gemini 2.5 Flash,...
You're right, thank you. I've updated the UX for mobile.
One thing I’ve been wrestling with is how to separate out if a model is ineffective because of biases or if it's just not as strong a model. Practically it might not be that important if users just want to know the strongest model, but it would be interesting to separate them out.

Ever wish you could get the best arguments for both sides of a debate?I built an AI-powered debate platform that pits language models against each other on controversial topics. Each AI is randomly assigned a side (pro/con). You vote before and after to see if you were persuaded. Most content today presents lopsided arguments. They provide strong points for one side, weak ones for the other....
Well that's interesting. I wouldn't expect AWS or Microsoft 365 to be affected by a Google outage.

Looks like twitter.com doesn't even resolve now. Throws a Cloudflare error.

That's hilarious, can't tell if it's intentional or not.

WindChime is a productivity app for families. It allows you to send todos to each other and share relevant family contacts. For example: the pediatrician, the plumber, or the address of your kids friends for dropoff and pickup.Running a family takes coordination to figure out who is doing what and when. WindChime is an app built to make that a little easier. It automatically sends...
If the ban was based on the context of the speech it would violate the constitution, but ownership of corporations is fair game to regulate. It's not uncommon for countries to have foreign ownership restrictions on other industries like banking, utilities, railroads, etc.
For all those speculating about the impact, NYU Med School went tuition free in 2018. This isn't the first school to do it. It would be interesting to read what the actual impact has been to NYU.
They might just want to generate bad PR for Amazon even if they lose the case legally.

Are you talking about milorganite?
Milorganite is exactly that, it's composed of heat-dried microbes that have digested the organic material in wastewater. It's manufactured by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, which captures waste water from the metropolitan Milwaukee area and uses naturally occurring microbes to digest the nutrients. After the organic matter has been consumed, the cleaned water is returned to Lake Michigan and the resulting material is dried and marketed as Milorganite®.

Have there been any studies comparing outcomes between going to a more competitive school where you'd be less prepared academically vs. a less competitive school where you'd be better prepared?
Colleges aren't just trying to produce academics, they're happy to produce business, non-profit, and political leaders as well.
We should warn these agencies that gain of function research is like playing Russian Roulette, but it would go in one ear and out the other.
Buffs are used like this on backpacking trips as well. Especially if you sleep cowboy style without a tent and you're staring a the moon and the starts.
