Shopify has now fully integrated Bitpay

As of a few weeks ago, Shopify only accepted Bitcoin as the primary payment method. As of today, you can now accept credit cards AND Bitcoin. With Black Friday coming up, it's perfect timing.Feel free to give it a test whirl on Outgrow.me. It's pretty slick.

Re:How Square moves Cash on Tuesday November 19, 2013 @11:19PM (#6766268)
I tried Square Cash. Sent a payment to a friend and immediately received a notice that due to fraud detection my account had been permanently closed. Completely turned me off from Square and I don't ever intend on using one of their services.
Re:Shopify accepts Bitcoin on Saturday November 09, 2013 @10:39PM (#6705048)
Stores want bitcoin as a secondary method of payment, not a first...

Anyone care to explain the cons of using this?

Brilliant. I'm loving this.
Re:Chesscademy, a free chess learning site on Monday August 19, 2013 @10:07AM (#6237263)
The name makes me think this is a codecademy sister site. Otherwise, very awesome.
It seems to me that the crowdfunding trend puts allot more power in the hands of entrepreneurs who now have access to outside funds and a product runway. The true test will be when (if) the Jobs Act ever goes into effect. That should have far greater ramifications than reward based crowdfunding.
Re:Thalmic Labs (YC W13) Raises $14.5M on Wednesday June 05, 2013 @05:07PM (#5828612)
Really excited to see where they take this product. Congrats to the Thalmic team!
I've wanted to use heap in the past, but the plans aren't very startup friendly..
Re:Show HN: Sleep Debt Calculator on Thursday May 30, 2013 @09:06PM (#5796271)
I think this is preaching to the wrong audience. Anyone getting 8 hours of sleep a night while working on a startup is sleeping too much.
Re:Kickstarter Fulfillment on Monday May 20, 2013 @08:22PM (#5741129)
The fact that the site is so blatantly infringing on a trademark speaks volumes about the service in general.
I could definitely see myself using something like this. It needs some more complex loops, but it's a great MVP. Cheers.
I'd like to second the demand for custom domains. Also, love the UI. Fantastic.
Re:How the Syrian Electronic Army Hacked The Onion on Wednesday May 08, 2013 @06:08PM (#5677280)
I agree with this point. I retype my user information, even while logged in, at least a few times a week.

Not yet, but definitely on my wish list.
Genius.
Re:Ask HN: Can you recommend a Rails ecommerce framework? on Thursday May 02, 2013 @12:22AM (#5642507)
Thanks for the info! I'm essentially trying to convert http://outgrow.me/ (which is running on Wordpress with WePay buttons for payments) to a Rails site. I'm hoping I'm not biting off more than I can chew..
