Let's call it the Gathering of the New Herd!

Or we all can just stick with Windows XP. Wouldn't it be great?

"HTML 5" features like

    <input type="text" x-webkit-speech>
surely won't work.
The problem of translation should not affect the writing of the original text.
But in English it is. It's acceptable to develop faster for certain (popular) languages.
I think the moral of this story is that it's not your business. She will decide what she want to do, and her parents should help, and not restrain her, or tell her what to do.

I find the efficient version much clearer, too. It extracts one layer of abstraction: a beginner may wondering, how can a variable being less than a function (a<func()), then find out, that the function returns a value, etc.

Two more lines worth it.

Re:Google made my son cry on Monday July 04, 2011 @10:18AM (#2726586)
why would Google enforce COPPA compliance internationally?

Because it's Google (an American company) who have to comply with COPPA and not some children (of any nationality).

I don't know if Google will win or lose, but I don't think it's possible to split that market because of the herd mentality. People follow their peers and they will all either stay at Facebook or move to Google+.
