I've been working on a similar project that turns Typescript into an actual pptx deck you can generate or render in the browser. It is more complex than markdown (the slides are code), but works nicely for version control and having an AI agent generate a deck with (almost) all PowerPoint features (https://github.com/shbernal/pptx-ts)
Workday's create-an-account-per-employer and the "upload-your-résumé-and-autofill" that just fills the sections wrong are pure pain. I agree volume is going to increase, I just hope application processes get more conversational and practical and move away from asking applicants to fill out a multi-page form just to be rejected by a no-reply email.
Customized applications are the target. atsfill hides the differences between hiring systems so you can focus on that.

The tool is not opinionated about spam (aka how many applications you send), I leave that decision to the user and how they tune their harnesses/workflows.

I'm working on a harness that tailors the résumé, lets the user read and tweak it, then submits, with a daily cap for submissions (still very early though): https://github.com/shbernal/hermes-linkedin-jobsearch

key fact: most of the content being created is coming from a handful of slop farms choosing a niche and publishing the same content with little variations across many channels

that's really good to find small web bloggers, would love to see more discovery projects like this one
what is your approach? I tried a few times with human-written text (by me, not popular books) and got 100% AI-gen
