Then the charging cost would grow with profit and would no longer be considered an overhead cost.
So how did it benefit his career?

TLDR: YouTube Ads not as efficient as blog posts about YouTube Ads
Yeah but Instagram is doing fine
How old are you?
Would you have wanted to find out if you were in your 20's?
there is no drug or lifestyle strategy that is absolutely guaranteed to protect the brain
In short: spend less time reading articles like this one.
I have a neck fracture and after answering 25 questions it said I have a 'thoracic aortic aneurysm'
When Breath Becomes Air - Paul Kalanithi (highly recommended, but come prepared)
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - J. K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, John Tiffany (recommended for HP nostalgia)
Elon Musk - Ashlee Vance (recommended)
Shoe Dog - Phil Knight (highly recommended)
Outliers - Malcolm Gladwell (meh)
The Gene - Siddhartha Mukherjee (currently reading, recommended so far)
Does anyone have advice on applying to a PhD from industry & without significant research experience (but a BS + MS degree from Stanford)?
Does anyone know about how to get involved in work like this? I'm outcome-oriented so disease diagnosis would be motivating for me. I'm looking to help out on an open-source project along these lines.

Interesting but how is a NN necessary instead of examining pixel values?
You're right the term can mean anything, but I alluded to my meaning when I mentioned "ML problems".
Thanks for the tip about Hortonworks/Cloudera, I had never considered such a role but that's exactly what I want to be doing next year.

I'm a Stanford MS candidate in CS. Are there any startups actually hiring for real data science positions? The term seems so overloaded to the extent that recruiters are ready to label anything from Excel to "data infrastructure" as data science. Where can I find a role working on actual ML problems?
Thank you. I see that most agreements have the same sort of language about the company maintaining ownership of all work...
That's what I'm worried about. I'd be acting in a data analysis/software dev role. What can I do to change the language?

I'm potentially going to start work on my first independent consultant job, but I was hoping to hear from others experienced in this area about what to expect in terms of standard agreements.Do most pay all at the end or can I ask for half upfront? What is a standard rate per hour? Finally, should I agree to this: http://pastebin.com/7m2xBjLg
I've been using this for some time already
I see a very tight profit margin, but the key to pulling this off is good supply chain optimization.
Good luck
The article claims that the US is "near the bottom in terms of actual social mobility", but only supports this with some points about how social mobility in the US isn't that good.
The US is still one of the most meritocratic countries in the world.
That's funny, I just used xlrd and xlrt and had to convert about 100 files to 97-2003 workbooks
My main problem with these types of extensions is that I end up just removing blocked sites when I run out of time
Listening to Mark speak right now at Stanford. Someone asked him a question about privacy. He genuinely seems like a not-evil person.

Not to take away from the point, but I'm always initially skeptical of statistics.
For example, this is also true:
50% of all taxpayers make less than the median EVERY DAY
