Looks like they forgot to create a "Not available in your region" page, which makes me wonder whether they made this over a weekend.

No option to detect generated text. SynthID also watermarks text, right?
Re:RSS Feeds for Last.fm on Wednesday September 30, 2026 @03:08AM (#49905448)
ListenBrainz[0] is a decent alternative if you don't want to self-host. You can import your Last.fm scrobbles there pretty easily.

I haven't heard it say "load-bearing" yet (I've used it for 30 minutes now), so that's a start.
Re:My agent.md to improve LLM-assisted code quality on Monday August 24, 2026 @02:28AM (#49415878)
If we alter the way LLMs talk, will it noticeably affect the quality of code it produces?
Re:French musician Kavinsky found dead on Wednesday July 29, 2026 @10:23AM (#49097933)
His Nightcall performance during the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony got me into Synthwave. Really sad to see him go :(

NASA migrated thousands(!) of their sites to WordPress back in 2023. I think it had to do with user-friendliness of the Gutenberg editor.

22yo final-year CS student. Available to join full-time immediately.

I have been fiddling with computers since I was a kid. While my current role is in a non-technical domain, I spend my free time building full-stack apps and experimenting with Linux.

I'm a quick learner who loves diving into new tech stacks and meeting people who are passionate about what they build. I am looking to pivot into a technical role where I can solve real problems.

Great catch! I've figured out the problem. My API actually returns[0] the IPA for both UK and US accents. The problem was it was under the tags "Received-Pronunciation" and "General-American" instead of the usual "En-uk" and "En-us".

I will deploy a fix soon. Thank you!

EDIT: I've deployed a fix. This still won't cover all the edge-cases but it's much better than before.

Show HN: I made a faster, mobile-friendly interface for Wiktionary

https://kwiktionary.vercel.app/

Wiktionary is probably the most comprehensive dictionary available, but I've often found the official website a bit overwhelming, especially on my phone. When I just want a quick definition, Wiktionary frequently starts with a long Etymology section. This is my attempt to address that. Kwiktionary prioritizes definitions first, like a traditional dictionary. It's designed with smaller screens in...

I have hosted FastAPI apps in the past using Vercel Serverless Functions [0]. The Python runtime is available in Beta on all plans.

Re:A comprehensive guide to setting up NextDNS on Sunday September 10, 2023 @05:57PM (#37460501)
Hey, thank you for the feedback. You're right, blocking NRDs is impractical for anyone in the tech space. But I wrote this article for the general audience, who encounters NRDs very rarely. And when they do, it is likely to be malicious. (I don't have solid evidence, though).

About my domain being blocked by this feature, I guess I'll have to wait it out.

Re:Show HN: Global Pomodoro every 30 minutes on Tuesday June 20, 2023 @03:32AM (#36400818)
I don't get it. Why should I use this instead of a basic timer?
How long would they send security patches if we stop updating?

Are you sure? avatars.githubusercontent.com works fine for me.
Is anyone familiar with how the KeePassXC browser extension handles this?
