Show HN: spoilerjs – Reddit-style spoilers with particle animations
Hello HN!I just published my first npm library as a small way to give back to the open source community.I built `spoilerjs`, a lightweight web component that lets you hide text with an animated spoiler effect. Think Reddit spoilers, but with more flair! It works with plain HTML, React, Vue, or Svelte, and you can customize attributes like particle density, velocity, and scale. The effect is...
Show HN: Mobile Fluid Simulation Controlled by Device Tilt
A few days ago I came across the amazing `flip-card` project by Nicholas Johnson, which had fluid simulation running on business cards. I thought there had to be similar projects for mobile phones, since the DeviceOrientation API is widely supported. But after my brief search, I could not find anything that works in the browser! So I built this. The fluid is intentionally a little jumpy because...

If the tech stack is up to me, I can build good looking, accessible and...

It can be installed as a PWA too.If you enjoyed, please leave a star on the GitHub repository: https://github.com/shajidhasan/dotventureThanks for taking a look. Years ago,...
Yeah a lot of people noticed the issue. I will have to do something about it!

Well, there's this browser limitation, you first have to interact with a webpage in a way for it to be able to produce sound. This stops random tabs and pages blasting sound as soon as they're opened. That's why you need to first kill an ant first!
