An expensive way to run Doom.
do you have any blog to suggest for an implementation?
those are great points. I have read the article about SO and it is inspiring
golang is very efficient memory wise. And it is easy to develop with.

(Rust gods please dont see this)

great to hear!
I am gonna be honest, I was laughing writing that part! :)
you are definetely right. :)
Yeah, it is kind of provocatory. Of course you can't build a business out of an in-memory game, but it is fun to ship something as it is. Without thinking too much about scalability.
You are right, but i can roll updates during the night without causing any issue. Since after you finished playing you don't have a way to access your old games anymore
I agree it's silly, but sometimes ideas or POCs are silly but worth shipping. Don't you agree?
This article is a reminder to me and you all that you probably don’t need to make things harder for yourself.
thanks a lot! Do you mean something like a shareable message?

Yeah, that would have been more likely :)

Ask HN: Where to Start Contributing OSS?

Hi, I am software engineer. And, as the time is passing I would like to get into the Open Source world. What are the best OSS projects to contribute to? I am searching for a good community to start from. I am at a good level with Python and JavaScript, and I have an understanding of C++ and Golang. But I am not scared of learning new languages if it's needed. Any suggestions are welcome! :)

Ask HN: How's the Transition to Mastodon Going?

Hi, I am looking for an alternative to Twitter but after a brief review of Mastodon I could not find anything exciting about it. I guess the ability of creating your own fork of the project is interesting, but not from a user perspective. What do you think? Is it any good? Have you have any suggestion?
