Re:Filing Taxes After Exercising Start Up Options on Tuesday February 21, 2017 @09:24PM (#13702370)
An option grant where the spread has become large enough that the employee cannot cover the tax burden upon exercise effectively handcuffs said employee to the company until a liquidation event.

Gains in Roth IRAs are also tax free in addition to withdrawals. This means that if you have 30 or more years until retirement, you enjoy a 30 year growth at 8% compounded tax free (based on The numbers in the article). This is why if you're young and qualify for a Roth IRA it's almost always the correct choice.

Re:The UDID leak is a privacy catastrophe on Tuesday September 04, 2012 @05:06AM (#4473748)
No, you need a push token, which is a combination of device id and app id, and is only generated when the user authorizes the app for remote notifications. Additionally, you need a certificate on the server that is authorized to send messages to that app id.
Look at the bottom of your checks. You give out your account number (and routing number) every time you issue a check.
