Thanks! Yeah that's true, it fetches the crypto balance from your exchange and calculates the USD balance using coinmarketcap.com. In a future update I'll add the option to use the USD balance from the exchange, if present. Thank you for your feedback!
Yup, also it shouldn't use a lot of CPU resources like a miner would.
This is definitely not true! Bitdefender probably detects this because the application contains multiple references to crypto coin exchanges etc.
I know bitbar, but with all the plugins installed, it's pretty bloated. I wanted a tool that unites all exchanges and wallets in a lightweight interface.

Why do people write their libraries in ONE single unmaintainable file?! I don't get it.

Re:Ask HN: When will clipboard support finally come to browsers? on Wednesday September 25, 2013 @04:36PM (#6447127)
Okay, good point on getting the clipboard data. But what about setting it? I don't see a big security concern there.

Also, what if the user has to give permission to read the clipboard per default, but he can also check 'Always allow for this tab'?

Ask HN: When will clipboard support finally come to browsers?

Re:Show HN: Find your most followed followers on Twitter on Sunday January 20, 2013 @06:07PM (#5088670)
It helps me to find out how big my Twitter range is. If there are people with lots of followers following me, the chance to reach 'important' people is higher.

I like the use of the word "password". If they would at least implement a password, the whole thing would be a lot more secure.

Not until the PHP API on Github is back on. They had to remove it due to legal issues.

Actually this is not a real tool that you should use every day. I just created that to clarify and demonstrate the insecure authentication and message transmission methods of WhatsApp.
