Re:CatGPT – The Platform for Your Cat on Monday November 02, 2026 @04:29AM (#50334700)
Backed by the Open Claw Foundation and built in stealth development for the last 16 months. I heard that some of the founding teams of OpenAI and Google had jumped ship without publicly saying what they were working on. Makes sense now. Sure it gives a voice to cats but honestly, is it going to help or hurt?

Personally, I get the feeling that some open-weight models are already better than this and all they needed was the UI/UX interface. I could probably build this in 30 minutes on a Friday evening, before dinner, while waiting for my wife to finish her last evening meeting. No hate on the devs - I am just not that impressed by the Open Claw Foundation. It seems mostly like hype.

I also note the catgpt dot com domain is being held ransom for $250K which gave me a laugh.

Nice story. I like this: Change in “how to become …” searches - Radiologist +50%. They were the first high skills career at risk a few years back.

It’s like every career goes through their progressive wave of replacement and emerges on the other side with the new tools. Hiring freezes and AI psychosis is no fun but I can see it passing slowly.

School teachers probably have the exact same crisis that programmers had. Their conversations and social media circle might not overlap as much and therefore, to each person, it’s a new discussion and it feels like a personal attack on their field.

The manuscript (presented in Portugese) makes sweeping claims supported by little more than placeholder citations. I think we will see an explosion of math papers dumbed on github after OpenAI's move this week.
