You can also set a thinking budget in terms of how many tokens it can spend inside the reasoning/thinking phase.
I find it funny that the thing always mentioned with this machine is local AI. If you're a local model enthusiast, then maybe that makes sense, but I just don't see the economics working there.
I ordered the same one for work so I could run more local agents at once (many iOS simulators and Xcode build processes).
I've read that book and it's one of the very core concepts that relates to introducing tests in legacy code ("finding a seam").
A lot of these “Claudeisms” are simply jargon I’ve seen or heard firsthand myself while working at tech companies. I don’t think it’s limited to Claude either; I’ve seen Codex use load-bearing and many of these phrases as well.
I think using agents is just like speedrunning the whole experience of working with technical coworkers. Whereas you might have had a few coworkers at your company who used some of these phrases regularly, you now have a “coworker” who uses all of them regularly at a much faster pace.
The M4 Mac Mini had that option too.
I built a macOS terminal (libghostty wrapper) that runs iOS simulators (and mirrored physical devices) in a Metal-rendered pane inside the terminal.
It works with standard tooling: for example, if anything in one of its tabs runs `xcrun simctl boot`, the simulator just shows up as a pane in that tab. There's a CLI for the things simctl/devicectl don't cover: taps, gestures, rotation, accessibility tree, etc.

https://github.com/sethdeckard/atria : TUI for managing multiple AI coding agents that doesn't force a particular workflow on you. You can use tmux, the built-in PTY, or terminal integrations with iTerm2, kitty, or WezTerm.
- https://github.com/sethdeckard/loadout : TUI and CLI for managing a personal library of Claude Code and Codex skills across your machines.
- https://github.com/sethdeckard/atlas : TUI and CLI (also works as "cd launcher") that creates a smart, automatic map of every Git repository under your projects root.
I'm using these almost daily.
I recently built something just like this:
https://github.com/sethdeckard/atriaIt supports tmux, but you can use it without via embedded terminal. It also has native integration with a few select terminals that expose the right kind of APIs.
Installs as single binary (written in Go) with no external dependencies.

I built atria, a terminal UI for managing multiple agent sessions in one place. It works as an "agent multiplexer" for sessions running on your own machine. If you're thinking "why not just use tmux?": It works fine alongside tmux and gives you extra status, visibility, and quick control over agent sessions. There's three ways to use it:- Standalone with embedded terminal multiplexer (works in...
I did vote, but not for Harris or Trump. :)
Would I have voted for a Democrat or a Republican if they ran the "right" candidate? I suppose anything is possible, but given the history, I would consider that to be very unlikely.
As an independent, let me just say: fuck that. Trump and his voters are to blame.
Enshittification strikes again.
It also depends on the quality of that enclosure and whether or not it adds heat or fan noise.
I looked into this a couple months ago and external TB5 was still more expensive at 1-2 TB not sure about above, though.
For sure and the Mac Mini M4 Pro with 64GB of RAM feels like the sweet spot right now.
That said, the base storage option is only 512GB, and if this machine is also a daily driver, you’re going to want to bump that up a bit. Still, it’s an amazing machine for under $3K.
Perhaps. Another possibility is that the same societal shift that drove the UK to give up the right to be armed also pushed them in the direction of giving up other rights.
Even the A* search algorithm is technically AI.
Does anyone know how divesting in this case would actually work?
Would Bytedance still own shares in the resulting US entity? Shares they could sell or get paid with via dividends, just no control over operations?
If you wanted a similarly spec'd display for a Mac, what would you get instead? (what is the non-idiot alternative?)
> Those features are often assumed, but are NOT present in the Vision Pro.
Yes they are.
Source: I develop for the device.
You need to level up your reading skills. I said destruction, not devaluation.
> A century more?
No one knows because it depends on a lot of variables that cannot be predicted in advance. The only major short term threat is that we default due purely debt ceiling debates / brinkmanship, not because of the burden of the debt itself.
The debt becomes a very real problem if hegemony of the US dollar as a reserve currency is ever disrupted. I don’t see that happening anytime soon, though.
> What's the future of the state as an institution?
Very high tax rates, unfortunately. Although there’s worse outcomes (currency destruction). These are the possible long term consequences.
> it’ll remain controlled substance
Got to make sure the doctors get a cut by requiring prescriptions.
The developer has to agree to allow Apple to audit them.
It’s deceptive in the tactics they use to hide the fact it’s dubbed until you actually start watching it. (See sibling comment further down)
Thank you, this is exactly what I was referring to. I forgot about the deceptive trailers that attempt to hide the fact it’s dubbed. There’s definitely a deliberate attempt to trick viewers here.
I think the only easy way to tell without watching is by looking at the names of the actors. If they are look like they are from a particular language/region, then it’s usually a sign it’s dubbed.
I was starting to wonder if I was alone with this opinion or if there is just a some Netflix employees here trying to gaslight me. :)
It never worked this way for me, but I always use their Apple TV app.
