This was so cool I would add the planets as indicators on the right side and by clicking on them I would move the timeline fast to reach them
Healthcare. I would loved to change things and change the incentives from them making money of ppl being sick to actually make money on people being healthy and happy. I would probably started to replace all the current doctors with AI and robots who don't make decisions based on their emotions but based on the actual data and patterns they know.
That's sad, and it's even more sad because I can completely observe where this is coming from and what causes this -_-

Things are way different in IRL SF than what I used to observe from distance.

LOL totally felt the vibes from your description, could even hear the dial-up sound in my head! XD
That Atlassian thing sounds so cool
Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (April 2025) on Sunday May 04, 2025 @05:02PM (#43889556)
Yeah I agree! He can get one of those tiny cameras that can be installed on the head and just record the whole thing.

Ask HN: Hackathons feel fake now – anyone else noticing this?

Been going to a bunch of hackathons in SF lately and honestly, everything feels fake. There are like 20 sponsors handing out credits for their tools that all do the same thing. Half the time, they can’t even explain what they’re for. They’re just hoping someone uses them so they can count it as adoption. Everyone jams these into projects to check a box, and what gets built is mostly BS with...

Re:Is 1 Prime, and Does It Matter? on Monday April 21, 2025 @09:06PM (#43758176)
I think 1 is so different from other numbers, it seems that in the past, some people did consider 1 to be a prime number. However, by the early 1900s, mathematicians agreed to exclude 1 from the list of primes to keep mathematical rules clear and consistent.
Re:Has anyone tried building tools without coding? on Wednesday March 05, 2025 @05:23PM (#43273529)
Totally agree!

So I've used pretty much all the AI builders out there and seen a ton examples of other users using them.

V0 and Lovable are just ok for the UI if you have the Figma file ready but good luck connecting them with email or implement other integrations and Replit can build a prototype but it takes around 6K prompts to have a low quality mvp!

I think we are not there yet!
