I left Cursor after Mr Musk acquired it and began pushing Grok.

Tesla is going to end up as a meme stock
I have got 15kw solar and EV, barely pay more than 50 bucks a months and that too mostly consists of daily supply charges.
Re:We Are Witnessing the End of Tesla's EV Empire on Saturday January 24, 2026 @03:42AM (#46742029)
I used to have Tesla brand loyalty until he turned MAGA, brought two BYD’s since and never looked back.
Re:Why senior engineers let bad projects fail on Thursday January 15, 2026 @06:38PM (#46641049)
Learnt from experience that when you can foresee a project failure and you don't have any power, stay quiet and start applying for new role before the blame game, retros and political chaos. It's not worth it, you're just an employee and it's not your company.

He’s a troll
Live in your stats cocoon and yesterdays euro supremacy
Feel free to live in your cocoon, I have owned several euro cars, including e36 m3. Now own BYD Dolphin and Shark, the European car industry is history mate.
Chinese cars have come a long way, most of them have better quality than any European maker. And almost of them come with very long warranty periods as well. Go take a test drive in one to find out what you been missing out on.
It will still be there as a meme stock
It’s improving in Australia, but no where near where it needs to be.
Probably less than what’s being sent to the “American Empire” by Teslas
There are two models, the premium version has 0-100 in roughly 6 seconds, with Michelin tyres (saying from personal experience)
I have noticed that in Chinese web / app design philosophy as well, it’s always function over form.
True true… isn’t the LFP battery pack in model 3 and and Y supplied by BYD as well?
Aren’t they Chinese owned?
I had family friends visiting Australia from USA and they were surprised by the sheer number and varieties of Chinese cars on our roads. I too have a BYD Dolphin and Shark, they loved them and felt they’re missing out big time on this. Mind you we have lots of Teslas on the roads as well, but they are bleeding their lead.
Why not? And cheap is a relative term, from American point of view these sensors may be expensive because they have to buy it from suppliers, from BYD’s perspective it could be home grown given they are by far the most vertically integrated vehicle manufacturer.
My personal take is that if users can get used to the notch on the iPhone , they could get used to that too.
Someone said that LiDAR is too expensive, camera is better :)
I run nextjs using dokploy on a vps but am sure this might be the final push for us to break free from Vercel. Shame because I was such an early believer and adopter.
