This has a number of advantages over GPG. In general, it provides better default security without having to fumble to pick the right options with GPG.
For example:
In order to get sender authentication in GPG, you have to sign the message. GPG doesn't do this by default when encrypting a message, but you can choose to add a signature. But even if you do sign the message, GPG provides non-repudiation which means that you can no longer deny that you sent the message. Kestrel provides sender authentication while preserving deniability.
There are a number of other strong security guarantees that are provided by Kestrel's use of the noise protocol. There is more info on some of those properties here [1]

If your app is in a Docker container, you need to have some way to mount a persistent volume for the database. AWS Fargate and fly.io both offer storage volumes.
C89 was 32 years ago, so I think saying 30+ years is fair.
It will install the .deb because they don’t have snap in Pop OS.
He mentioned on a podcast that he even uses his own text editor.
You can move the cursor by long pressing on the words to bring up the magnifying glass.
This also crashed firefox on Linux for me.
That idea sounds fantastic! I would definitely be interested. I'm sure I would end up spending a significant amount of time on the site.
That's weird. I'll look into a fix.
Edit: I couldn't reproduce this with Chromium on Ubuntu 16.10. I might set up an Arch Linux box to see if that makes a difference.

While I agree that Anna Kendrick might not need a biography at 31, she definitely isn't Q list. Probably A list, maybe B if we're being picky.
It's mostly because good UX testing costs a ton of money and these projects are mostly created by pure developers and not designers.
While Apple may not intentionally keep you from leaving their platform, a side effect of their tight integration is that it's harder to leave. Take the Apple Watch for example. Without an iPhone, the Apple Watch goes from a smartwatch to only being able to tell the time. Sure, you could own an Android phone and an Apple Watch, but you wouldn't get any of the benefits of the Apple Watch, which further ties customers to the iPhone.
Each session would need to be decrypted individually, but if it only took you a few ms per session, you could essentially decrypt as many as you want.
Which "fresh PC titles" are you referring to?
And what country are you in where things like this don't happen?
You can now buy laptops preinstalled with Ubuntu directly from dell.
Because tarsnap is cheap, incredibly well documented, open source, and run by an awesome guy. It's an all around win-win.
I wish bitcoin could enable micro-payments like this. I would love to donate small (or large) amounts of money to websites that I found a useful answer on. Unfortunately, for this to be possible every website has to enable or provide a way for me to pay them (be it bitcoin or something else) and all of the end users also must have this same payment system set up, which will just never happen. I just wish there were a better way for content creators to make money than ads. A ubiquitous bitcoin type solution would definitely be a step in the right direction.
Jenny Kissed Me
by Leigh Hunt
Jenny kissed me when we met,
Jumping from the chair she sat in.
Time, you thief! who love to get
Sweets into your list, put that in.
Say I'm weary, say I'm sad;
Say that health and wealth have missed me;
Say I'm growing old, but add-
Jenny kissed me!
